Description
本実施例の製造方法は、先ず鋳造により鋳造成形体を形成する鋳造工程を行い、続いて表側ビードシート12、空洞部21、および非空洞部22を形成するための段部加工工程、スピニング加工工程、接合工程を行う。その後、製品形状に成形するための切削加工工程行い、さらにバルブ孔41を形成するための孔加工工程を行う。尚、製造方法には熱処理工程、塗装工程、その他の加工工程などが適宜実施されるが、本発明の要部でなく、従来から用いられている方法を適用できるため、その詳細については省略する。

Claims (1)
- タイヤのビードを支持する表側および裏側のビードシートと、該表側ビードシートの径方向内方に設けられエアバルブを装着するためのバルブ孔と、をリムに備える車両用ホイールの製造方法において、
リムの外表面から径方向外方へ全周に亘って突出する環状の縦壁を形成し、リムの外表面から径方向外方へ突出しバルブ孔の孔断面よりも広い断面を持つ凸部と該凸部よりも外径が小さい凹部とをリムの表側フランジと前記縦壁との間にホイールの周方向に連続して形成する工程と、
前記縦壁をリムの表側フランジ側へ折り曲げて該縦壁の端部を該表側フランジに全周に亘って接合することにより、折り曲げられた縦壁で構成される表側ビードシートと、折り曲げられた縦壁および前記凹部で構成される中空状の空洞部と、前記凸部で構成される中実状の非空洞部と、を形成する工程と、
前記非空洞部に前記バルブ孔を切削加工で形成する工程と、
を順次実行することを特徴とする車両用ホイールの製造方法。
