Description
[{SrGa2S4}・{MgGa2O4}]:M(I)
本発明による[SrGa2S4]・[MgGa2O4]:Eu2+蛍光体を合成するための出発物質で、粉末化された金属硫化物(metal sulfide)(MS)及びGa2S3を用いることができる。Mはマグネシウム及びストロンチウムのいずれかまたは両者を全て含むことができる。

Claims (9)
- 硫化物結晶相(sulfide crystallographic phase)と、
酸化物結晶相(oxide crystallographic phase)を含むが、
前記硫化物結晶相及び前記酸化物結晶相が1つの結晶グレーン内に混在された多重相化合物で、前記硫化物結晶相はSrGa 2 S 4 で、前記酸化物結晶相はMgGa 2 O 4 であることを特徴とする蛍光体。 - 前記蛍光体は、活性体(activator)をさらに含み、前記活性体は1つまたはそれ以上の稀土類元素を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の蛍光体。
- 前記活性体は、セリウム、プラセオジム、ネオジム、プロメチウム、サマリウム、ユーロピアム、ガドリニウム、テルビウム、ジスプロシウム、ホルミウム、エルビウム、ツリウム、イッテルビウム及びルテチウムからなる群から選ばれた1つまたはそれ以上の元素を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の蛍光体。
- 前記蛍光体は、補助活性体(co−activator)をさらに含み、前記補助活性体は塩素、臭素及びリチウムからなる群から選ばれた1つまたはそれ以上の元素であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の蛍光体。
- 発光原と、
前記発光原から放射される光を吸収し発光する蛍光体を含む発光装置で、前記蛍光体は硫化物結晶相及び酸化物結晶相を含むが、前記硫化物結晶相及び前記酸化物結晶相が1つの結晶グレーン内に混在された多重相化合物で、前記硫化物結晶相はSrGa 2 S 4 で、前記酸化物結晶相はMgGa 2 O 4 であることを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記発光原は発光ダイオード及びレーザーダイオードのいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の発光装置。
- 前記発光原は400乃至480nmの波長を有する光を放出することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の発光装置。
- 前記蛍光体は、赤色蛍光体をさらに含み、前記発光原は青色ダイオードで、前記多重相化合物は緑色蛍光体であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の発光装置。
- 前記緑色蛍光体は、活性体(activator)をさらに含み、前記活性体がEu 2+ であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の発光装置。
