Claims (7)
- 気液接触装置に用いるための気液接触体であって、
該接触体は、一つおきのシートにおけるコルゲーションがほぼ平行になるように配置されて気体および液体のための複数の十字状通路を形成した状態で対向配置された複数枚のコルゲーション付きシートを備え、前記接触体は、空気取入れエッジと該エッジの下流の空気取入れエッジ部とを含む空気取入れ口を有し、前記空気取入れエッジ部は、塗装密度が、前記空気取入れエッジでの最大密度から下流に向かって減少する態様で不透水性親水性材料にて塗装されて、前記空気取入れエッジ部の内部において前記シートの空気に曝される面積が徐々に増大していることを特徴とする気液接触体。 - 前記空気取入れエッジ部における前記コルゲーション付きシートの一部分が実質的に塗装されていないことを特徴とする請求項1記載の気液接触体。
- ケーシング、気体取入れ口および気体送出口を有する気液接触装置に用いるための気液接触体であって、
該接触体は、互いに対向して配置されかつ互いにほぼ平行に配置された複数枚のコルゲーション付きシートを備え、かつ前記ケーシングの前記気体取入れ口の近傍に位置決めされるように構成された気体取入れエッジと、気体および液体の通過を許容する複数の交差かつ相互連通する通路とを画成し、前記シートのそれぞれにおけるコルゲーションは、一つおきのシートのコルゲーションが隣接するシートのコルゲーションに対して斜めに配置された状態で、前記接触体を通過する流れの主要部分に対して斜めに延び、前記シートは、気体取入れエッジと、塗装密度が気体取入れエッジでの最大密度から下流に向かって密度が減少する態様で不透水性親水性材料にて塗装された、前記エッジの下流の気体取入れエッジ部とを有し、該気体取入れエッジ部の内部において前記シートの空気に曝される面積が徐々に増大していることを特徴とする気液接触体。 - 前記塗膜は、ラテックスゴム、アクリルまたはプラスチックからなる群から選ばれた1種類の材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項3記載の気液接触体。
- 前記気体取入れエッジ部における前記コルゲーション付きシートの一部分が実質的に塗装されていないことを特徴とする請求項3記載の気液接触体。
- 対向配置された複数枚のコルゲーション付きシートを備えた接触体の空気取入れエッジ部を塗装する方法であって、
前記空気取入れエッジ部が前記ノズルに対向した状態で、前記接触体を複数の塗装用スプレーノズルに対して移動させ、
前記ノズルを前記接触体の表面に対して斜めに位置決めし、
小滴状態の塗装材料を前記接触体およびその空気取入れエッジ部に向かって噴霧する
諸ステップを含み、
これにより、前記空気取入れエッジ部の表面上の塗装密度が、前記ノズルに対向する表面における最大密度から前記空気取入れエッジ部内部の下流に向かって減少して、前記シートの空気に曝される面積が徐々に増大することを特徴とする塗装方法。 - 前記ノズルを前記接触体の表面に対して斜めに向けるステップを含み、それにより、前記コルゲーションの表面の所定部分の塗装噴霧がなされ、かつ他の部分は隣接するコルゲーションによって噴霧が遮断されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の方法。
