Description
本発明は自動車の少なくとも1つのグロープラグを制御するための方法および装置に関する。
発明の利点
本発明によれば、グロープラグの制御を排ガス温度および/または燃料条件の充足に依存する変量に応じて行った場合、ある所定の動作状態において排気エミッションが明らかに低減することが確認された。
本発明の実施例を図面に示し、以下の解説においてより詳細に説明する。
図1は、少なくとも1つのグロープラグを制御する装置の基本的な構成要素を示しており、
図2は状態図を示しており、
図3および5はそれぞれ本発明による方法のフローチャートを示している。
図1には、本発明による装置の基本的な構成要素が示されている。グロープラグ100は、供給電圧の両端子の間で、電流測定手段120とスイッチング手段110に直列接続されている。図示された実施例では、各グロープラグに電流測定手段120とスイッチング手段110とが設けられている。本発明による装置は、1つの内燃機関の複数のグロープラグまたは1つの内燃機関のすべてのグロープラグに共通のスイッチング手段および/または共通の電流測定手段が設けられるように構成しうる。
Claims (4)
- 自動車の少なくとも1つのグロープラグを制御する方法であって、内燃機関の動作状態に応じて前記少なくとも1つのグロープラグの制御を行うようにした方法において、
排ガス温度が閾値を下回ったとき、および/または、噴射燃料量(QK)が時間閾値(SZ1)よりも長い期間にわたって閾値を下回ったときに、内燃機関のエンジンブレーキ動作が検出されたと見なし、
エンジンブレーキ動作が検出されたら、予備通電によりグロープラグを所定の比較的低い温度まで加熱した後、動作電圧を印加することによりグロープラグを短期間に、とりわけ0.5秒未満で、最大グロー温度まで加熱する、ことを特徴とする方法。 - グロープラグの前記制御を、エンジン回転数、外気温および/または排ガス温度のうち少なくとも1つの動作パラメータに依存して行う、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記制御をグロープラグに供給されるエネルギーに依存して行う、請求項1記載の方法。
- 自動車の少なくとも1つのグロープラグを制御する装置であって、内燃機関の動作状態に応じて前記少なくとも1つのグロープラグを制御する手段を備えており、該手段は、排ガス温度が閾値を下回ったとき、および/または、噴射燃料量(QK)が時間閾値(SZ1)よりも長い期間にわたって閾値を下回ったときに、内燃機関のエンジンブレーキ動作を検出したと見なし、エンジンブレーキ動作が検出されると、予備通電によりグロープラグを所定の比較的低い温度まで加熱した後、動作電圧を印加することによりグロープラグを短期間に、とりわけ0.5秒未満で、最大グロー温度まで加熱する、ことを特徴とする装置。
