Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の排気通路の途中に配置されて粒子状物質を捕集するパティキュレートフィルタと、
そのパティキュレートフィルタに堆積した前記粒子状物質を燃焼して前記パティキュレートフィルタを再生する再生手段と、
前記パティキュレートフィルタにおける粒子状物質の堆積量を推定する推定手段とを備え、
前記再生手段は、
前記パティキュレートフィルタを再生する際に、前記パティキュレートフィルタの温度を制御する温度制御器と、
前記推定手段によって推定された前記粒子状物質の堆積量に応じて、前記温度制御器を調節する制御器調節手段とを有し、
前記温度制御器としてフィードバック制御器が用いられ、
前記制御器調節手段は、前記推定手段によって推定された前記粒子状物質の堆積量に応じて、前記フィードバック制御器におけるフィードバックゲインを調節するゲイン調節手段を備え、
そのゲイン調節手段による前記フィードバックゲインの調節において、前記粒子状物質の2つの堆積量であって、大きい方の堆積量における前記フィードバックゲインの値は小さい方の堆積量における前記フィードバックゲインの値よりも小さいような2つの堆積量が存在するように調節し、より小さいフィードバックゲインにより前記パティキュレートフィルタの温度の上昇速度が緩和されることを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記再生手段は、前記推定手段によって推定された前記粒子状物質の堆積量が大きいほど目標温度を低くする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
