Description
Claims (7)
- 内燃機関に用いられるクーリングチャンネル付きピストンであって、鋼から鍛造されたピストンクラウン(10)が設けられており、該ピストンクラウン(1)が、ピストン頂面(1)に設けられた燃焼凹部(2)と、リング部分(3)を備えたリング壁(4)と、リング部分の高さで全周にわたって延びる、カバー(8)によって閉鎖可能な冷却通路(7)とを有しており、該冷却通路(7)に、その全周に分配されて、ピストン頂面に向けられた多数の孔(5)が配置されており、当該クーリングチャンネル付きピストンが、ピストンスカートを有しており、該ピストンスカートが、ピストンクラウンに懸装されたピストンボスに結合されている形式のものにおいて、
蒸発側(6a)と凝縮側(6b)とを備えた、液体充填されたヒートパイプ(6)が、冷却通路(7)の孔(5)内に配置されており、蒸発側(6a)が、孔のピストン頂面側の端部で終わっており、ヒートパイプの凝縮側(6b)が、冷却通路(7)のカバー(8)を貫いて案内されていて、かつヒートパイプの凝縮側(6b)に、エンジンルーム内に配置されたノズルからの冷却オイルが吹き付けられるようになっていることを特徴とする、内燃機関に用いられるクーリングチャンネル付きピストン。 - 孔(5)が、ピストン頂面(1)の前方で終わる孔深さ(BT)を有しており、これによって、ヒートパイプの蒸発側(6a)とピストン頂面(1)との間に、ピストン材料から成る壁ウェブ(9)が存在している、請求項1記載のクーリングチャンネル付きピストン。
- 孔(5)が、ピストン頂面(1)にまで延びる孔深さ(BT)を有しており、これによって、ヒートパイプ(6)の蒸発側(6a)が、ピストン頂面(1)の一部を形成している、請求項1記載のクーリングチャンネル付きピストン。
- ヒートパイプ(6)が、燃焼噴流の衝突の領域に配置されている、請求項1記載のクーリングチャンネル付きピストン。
- 孔(5)内に挿入されたヒートパイプ(6)が、ピストンクラウン(10)に解離不能にろう接結合、溶接結合または接着結合またはプレス嵌めによって結合されている、請求項1記載のクーリングチャンネル付きピストン。
- ヒートパイプが、円筒状のまたは円錐形のヘッド部分と、円筒状のヒートパイプ下側部分とから成っており、ヘッド部分とヒートパイプ下側部分とが、互いに解離不能に結合されている、請求項1記載のクーリングチャンネル付きピストン。
- 孔(5)の軸線が、ピストン軸線(A)に対して平行に延びている、請求項1記載のクーリングチャンネル付きピストン。
