Claims (11)
- 印刷機(30)において被印刷体(14)の上の印刷インキ(114)を乾燥させる方法であって、前記被印刷体(14)は、印刷機(30)を通って被印刷体(14)が沿って移動する経路(16)の第1の位置(18)で少なくとも1つの印刷インキ(114)によって印刷される、被印刷体の上の印刷インキを乾燥させる方法において、
前記経路(16)の第2の位置(124)で、被印刷体(14)の上の印刷インキ(114)の乾燥の促進を引き起こす処理剤(118)が前記被印刷体(14)に塗布され、前記経路(16)の少なくとも1つの第3の位置(116)で時間的に後に、前記被印刷体(14)が狭帯域の放射エネルギー源(10)の光(12)によって照明されることによって、放射エネルギーの作用によって前記被印刷体(14)を乾燥させ、
前記処理剤(118)が、前記光(12)の波長と実質的に共振する吸収波長を有する赤外吸収剤を含んでおり、前記光(12)が700nmから3000nmの間の波長を有している、
ことを特徴とする、被印刷体の上の印刷インキを乾燥させる方法。 - 前記第1の位置(18)が前記第2の位置(124)よりも時間的に前に前記被印刷体(14)によって通過され、前記処理剤(118)はコーティングの形態で塗布される、請求項1に記載の乾燥方法。
- 前記第1の位置(18)が前記第2の位置(124)よりも時間的に後に前記被印刷体(14)によって通過され、前記処理剤(118)は下塗りの形態で塗布される、請求項1に記載の乾燥方法。
- 前記処理剤(118)が乾燥剤または塩基性の溶剤、もしくは結合剤であり、またはこれらを含んでいる、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の乾燥方法。
- 前記光(12)の波長が水(H2O)の吸収波長に対して非共振である、請求項1に記載の乾燥方法。
- 印刷機(30)を通る被印刷体(14)の経路(16)の第1の位置(18)にある少なくとも1つの印刷ユニット(32)と、前記経路(16)に沿ってこの印刷ユニット(32)の後に配置された第3の位置(116)にある、被印刷体(14)にエネルギーを供給するための乾燥装置とを備える、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の乾燥方法を実施するのに適した印刷機(30)において、
前記印刷機(30)が、前記乾燥装置の前に配置された別の第2の位置(124)に、前記第3の位置(116)で前記被印刷体上の印刷インキの乾燥を促進させる処理剤(118)を塗布するためのコンディショニングユニット(34)を含み、前記乾燥装置が、近赤外の波長の光(12)を放出し、前記被印刷体を照明する狭帯域の放射エネルギー源(10)を含み、該狭帯域の放射エネルギー源(10)がレーザ光源であり、
前記処理剤(118)が、前記光(12)の波長と実質的に共振する吸収波長を有する赤外吸収剤を含んでおり、前記光(12)が700nmから3000nmの間の波長を有している、
ことを特徴とする印刷機。 - 前記コンディショニングユニット(34)が、前記被印刷体(14)に両方の面から前記処理剤(18)の塗布が可能であるように製作されている、請求項6に記載の印刷機。
- 前記レーザ光源が半導体レーザまたはガスレーザまたは固体レーザである、請求項6に記載の印刷機。
- 前記印刷機(30)が、一次元のフィールド、二次元のフィールド、または三次元のフィールドに配置され、複数の位置で光(12)が前記被印刷体(14)に当る複数の放射エネルギー源(10)を有している、請求項6から8のいずれか1項に記載の印刷機。
- 前記被印刷体(14)に1つの位置で当る光(12)が、その強度と露光時間に関して、各々の前記放射エネルギー源(10)についてその他の放射エネルギー源(10)とは関わりなく制御可能である、請求項6から9のいずれか1項に記載の印刷機。
- 1つの位置で光(12)が少なくとも2つの前記放射エネルギー源(10)から前記被印刷体に当る、請求項6から10までのいずれか1項に記載の印刷機。
