Description
清浄対象体に混合されるオゾンガスを発生させるオゾンガス発生器と、
前記オゾンガス発生器で発生されたオゾンガスと前記清浄対象体との混合体を受ける光触媒体と、を備え、
前記光触媒体は、扁平形状の結晶粒子と前記扁平形状の結晶粒子と比較して厚みがある立体形状の結晶粒子とが結合していることを特徴とする。
(構成の説明)
図1は、本発明の実施形態の空気清浄機100の模式的な内部構成を示す断面図である。本実施形態の空気清浄機100は、図1に示すように、以下説明する、吸込口10と、ファン12と、オゾンガス発生器14と、光触媒含有フィルタ16と、光源18と、排出口20と、光触媒溶液噴霧器22と、制御部24と、筐体30と、を備える。
まず、空気清浄機100の電源がオンされると、制御部24は、ファン12を駆動する。これにより、ファン12が回転すると、吸込口10から周辺空気が筺体30内に吸い込まれる。また、制御部24は、オゾンガス発生器14を駆動する。これにより、オゾンガス発生器14からオゾンガスが発生される。この結果、オゾンガス発生器14を通過する空気は、オゾンガスとの混合ガスとなる。この際、上記空気は、オゾンガスの抗菌・殺菌効果により一部抗菌・殺菌される。
図2は、図1に示す光触媒含有フィルタ16に含有される光触媒溶液の製造工程の概要説明図である。なお、この光触媒溶液は、光触媒溶液噴霧器22によって噴霧される光触媒溶液でもある。
なお、球型の光触媒側の電子濃度は約10×1012cm3/s、本実施形態の光触媒側の電子濃度は約1×1012cm3/sであった。このように、約10倍程度の電子濃度の相違が確認された。これは、実施形態に係る光触媒含有フィルタ16の光触媒性が、球状の光触媒粒子しか用いていないフィルタの光触媒性に比して10倍優れていることを意味する。
1.光触媒原液のみを基板に塗布して乾燥させた後に、当該基板表面を電子顕微鏡を用いて観察したところ、表面に付着した酸化チタンには、平均的に約60%の気孔率が確認された。

Claims (5)
- 清浄対象の流体に混合されるオゾンガスを発生させるオゾンガス発生器と、
前記オゾンガス発生器で発生されたオゾンガスと前記清浄対象の流体との混合体に接触させる光触媒体と、
扁平形状の結晶粒子と前記扁平形状の結晶粒子と比較して厚みがある立体形状の結晶粒子とが結合した光触媒粒子を含む液体を前記光触媒体に噴霧する噴霧器とを備え、
前記光触媒体は、扁平形状の結晶粒子と前記扁平形状の結晶粒子と比較して厚みがある立体形状の結晶粒子とが結合していることを特徴とする清浄機。 - 清浄機本体の筐体は透光性を有しており、
前記光触媒体は、当該筐体を通じて得られる光を用いて触媒作用が得られる、請求項1記載の清浄機。 - 前記光触媒体は、清浄機本体の筐体を兼用する、請求項1又は2記載の清浄機。
- 前記光触媒体は、扁平形状の結晶粒子と前記扁平形状の結晶粒子と比較して厚みがある立体形状の結晶粒子とが結合した光触媒粒子を含む液体を用いて製造される、請求項1から3のいずれか記載の清浄機。
- 清浄対象の流体に混合されるオゾンガスを発生させ、
前記オゾンガスと前記清浄対象の流体との混合体を光触媒体に接触させ、
扁平形状の結晶粒子と前記扁平形状の結晶粒子と比較して厚みがある立体形状の結晶粒子とが結合した光触媒粒子を含む液体を前記光触媒体に噴霧することを特徴とする清浄方法。
