Description
プレス成形可能な超硬合金粉末を製造した。先ず、スラリーを、WC93wt%、Co5wt%、結合剤としてのバロプラスチック重合体2wt%及び粉砕用液0.3l/kgをベースにして製造した。バロプラスチック重合体は、ポリスチレンのシェルとポリ(2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート)のコアを有する約100nmの大きい粒子のエマルションとして添加した。粉末を平均粒度3μmになるように粉砕した。スラリーを実地標準に従って乾燥させ、図1に示す良く発達した凝集体を含む凝集化粉末混合物にした。この粉末をプレス成形して物体にした。破砕された生素地は、図4に示す通りの残留凝集構造を見せなかった。生素地を真空において1410℃で焼結した。
PEG4000を結合剤として実施例1を繰返した。凝集体の外見を図3に示し、破砕された生素地の構造を図5に示す。
60%のPEG4000と40%のPEG300を結合剤として実施例1を繰返した。凝集体の外見を図2に示し、破砕された生素地の構造を図6に示す。
実施例1、2及び3からの粉末についてISO4490に定める流動時間の測定を行った。焼結物体のつや出し横断面においてISO4505に定める有孔度を評価した。下記の結果が得られた。

Claims (7)
- 結合剤を含有する粉末混合物を湿式粉砕し、且つスラリーをスプレー乾燥させて凝集化粉末にすることによってプレス成形可能な凝集化粉末混合物を作る方法であって、
前記結合剤が、硬質から軟質への圧力誘起変態を有するコアシェル型のバロプラスチック重合体であることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記粉末混合物が、超硬合金、サーメット又はセラミックの粉末混合物であること、及び、硬質から軟質への前記圧力誘起変態が10〜50MPaの圧力範囲内で行われることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バロプラスチック材料が、軟質の重合体コアと硬質の重合体シェルからなる粒度範囲50〜200nmの粒子のコアシェル型重合体のブロック共重合体組成であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バロプラスチック重合体が、
上記硬質の重合体シェルとして、ポリスチレン、ポリ(ブチルメタクリレート)、ポリ(カプロラクトン)、ポリ(エチルメタクリレート)、ポリ(メチルメタクリレート)又はポリ(ヘキシルメタクリレート)を含有し、且つ
上記軟質の重合体コアとして、ポリ(ブチルアクリレート)、ポリ(メチルアクリレート)、ポリ(エチルアクリレート)、ポリ(エチルヘキシルアクリレート)又はポリ(カプロラクトン)を含有する
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 - 10〜50MPaの圧力範囲内で硬質から軟質への圧力誘起変態を有するコアシェル型のバロプラスチック重合体を含有することを特徴とする超硬合金、サーメット又はセラミックの粉末混合物を含むプレス加工可能な凝集化粉末混合物。
- 前記バロプラスチック材料が、軟質の重合体コアと硬質の重合体シェルからなる粒度範囲50〜200nmの粒子のコアシェル型重合体のブロック共重合体組成であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の凝集化粉末混合物。
- 前記バロプラスチック重合体が、
上記硬質の重合体シェルとして、ポリスチレン、ポリ(ブチルメタクリレート)、ポリ(カプロラクトン)、ポリ(エチルメタクリレート)、ポリ(メチルメタクリレート)又はポリ(ヘキシルメタクリレート)を含有し、
上記軟質の重合体コアとして、ポリ(ブチルアクリレート)、ポリ(メチルアクリレート)、ポリ(エチルアクリレート)、ポリ(エチルヘキシルアクリレート)又はポリ(カプロラクトン)を含有する
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の凝集化粉末混合物。
