Description
Claims (6)
- 位置指示器とともに使用され、前記位置指示器が指示する位置を検出するための位置検出エリアを有する位置検出装置であって、
前記位置検出エリアを取り囲むように配置され、前記位置指示器に信号を送信する励磁コイルと、
前記励磁コイルから送信された信号に応じて前記位置指示器から放出された信号を検出することで、前記位置検出エリアにて前記位置指示器によって指示された位置を検出する指示位置検出手段と、
前記指示位置検出手段によって検出された前記位置指示器によって指示された位置に応じて前記励磁コイルから送信される信号のレベルを制御する送信出力制御手段を、
備えたことを特徴とする位置検出装置。 - 前記送信出力制御手段は、前記指示位置検出手段によって検出された位置指示器からの信号のレベルが所定の範囲内となるように、前記励磁コイルから送出される信号のレベルを制御するようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の位置検出装置。
- 前記位置指示器によって指示された位置と前記位置検出エリアを取り囲むように配置された前記励磁コイルとの距離に応じて、前記励磁コイルから送出される信号のレベルを段階的に制御するようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の位置検出装置。
- 前記位置指示器はコイルとコンデンサからなる共振回路を有しており、前記指示位置検出手段は前記共振回路からの信号を検出することで、前記位置指示器によって指示された位置を検出するようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の位置検出装置。
- 前記位置指示器は高周波電界を放射するための一対の電極を有しており、前記指示位置検出手段は前記一対の電極から放射された信号を検出することで、前記位置指示器によって指示された位置を検出するようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の位置検出装置。
- 前記位置検出エリアは透明に形成されていると共に表示装置の表示パネルの前面に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の位置検出装置。
