Description
Claims (19)
- 動作電圧源によって動作電力を供給される装置であって、
変圧器を介して前記動作電圧源によって給電される二次側部品と、
前記動作電圧から接地までの電流供給ラインにおいて直列に配置されている制御信号供給手段及び電源制御手段と
を有し、
前記制御信号供給手段は、前記電流供給ラインにおいて電流制限手段を介して前記動作電圧源に接続され、当該装置の低電力動作モード又は通常動作モードを選択するための制御信号を供給するよう動作し、
前記電源制御手段は、前記電流供給ラインにおいて前記制御信号供給手段と前記接地との間に直列に接続され、前記制御信号供給手段から前記制御信号を受け取って、該制御信号に応答して前記変圧器の一次巻線を流れる電流を制御することで、前記動作電圧源による前記二次側部品への給電を制御するよう動作する、装置。 - 前記制御信号供給手段は、ユーザから当該装置の電源オン又は電源オフを指示する赤外線信号を受信する赤外線受信器を有する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記電源制御手段は、当該装置が通常動作モードにある場合に動作し、当該装置が低電力動作モードにある場合に停止する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記電源制御手段は電源マイクロコントローラを有する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 動作電圧源によって動作電力を供給される電子デバイスであって、
変圧器を介して前記動作電圧源によって給電される二次側部品と、
前記動作電圧源から接地までの電流供給ラインにおいて直列に配置されているリモート制御信号受信器回路及び電源制御回路と
を有し、
前記リモート制御信号受信器回路は、前記電流供給ラインにおいて電流制限デバイスを介して前記動作電圧源に接続され、ユーザから当該電子デバイスの電源オン又は電源オフを指示するリモート制御信号を受け取って、該リモート制御信号に応答して当該電子デバイスの低電力動作モード又は通常動作モードを選択するための制御信号を供給するよう動作し、
前記電源制御回路は、前記電流供給ラインにおいて前記リモート制御信号受信器回路と前記接地との間に直列に接続され、前記リモート制御信号受信器回路から前記制御信号を受け取って、該制御信号に応答して前記変圧器の一次巻線を流れる電流を制御することで前記動作電圧源による前記二次側部品への給電を制御するよう動作する、電子デバイス。 - 前記受信器回路は赤外線受信器を有する、請求項5記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記受信器回路は赤外線復号器を有する、請求項6記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記リモート制御信号受信器回路が受信した前記リモート制御信号に含まれる電源オン命令を復号するよう構成され、前記電源制御回路に並列に結合される赤外線復号器を有する、請求項5記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記赤外線復号器は、該赤外線復号器が前記電源オン命令を復号する場合に、前記電源制御回路を有効とするよう構成される、請求項8記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記赤外線復号器は、前記電源オン命令以外の他の命令を示すリモート制御信号を無視するよう構成される、請求項8記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記二次側部品は、映像表示部を有する、請求項5記載の電子デバイス。
- テレビジョンシステムを有する、請求項5記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記受信器回路は無線周波数受信器を有する、請求項5記載の電子デバイス。
- 動作電圧源と、変圧器を介して前記動作電圧源によって給電される二次側部品とを有する装置において、前記動作電圧源による前記二次側部品への給電を制御する方法であって、
前記動作電圧源から接地までの電流供給ラインにおいて前記動作電圧源に接続されている受信器において、ユーザから当該装置の電源オン又は電源オフを指示する電子命令信号を受信するステップと、
該電子命令信号を復号するステップと、
前記電流供給ラインにおいて前記受信器と前記接地との間に直列に接続されている電源制御器へ前記復号された電子命令信号を送信するステップと、
前記復号された電子命令信号に応答して前記変圧器の一次巻線を流れる電流を制御することで前記動作電圧源による前記二次側部品への給電を制御するステップと
を有する方法。 - 前記受信器は、赤外線受信器を有する、請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記電子命令信号を復号するステップは、赤外線復号器により前記電子命令信号を復号するステップを有する、請求項15記載の方法。
- 前記電流供給ラインを流れる電流は、1.2ミリアンペアよりも小さい電流である、請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記電子命令信号を受信するステップは、電源オン命令を受信するステップを有する、請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記電子命令信号が前記電源オン命令以外の他の命令を有する場合に、該他の命令を復号するための第2の復号器へ前記電子命令信号を送信するステップを更に有する、請求項18記載の方法。
