Claims (6)
- 第1電源から有機発光ダイオードを経由して第2電源に流れる電流量を制御する画素を含む有機電界発光表示装置の駆動方法において、
前記画素を含む画素部の映像がブラック映像に切替えられるステップと、
前記ブラック映像に切替えられたとき、レベル信号が入力されるたびに前記第1電源の電圧を略等間隔で下降させ、前記ブラック映像が表示できるように、少なくとも4回順次下降させるステップと
を含み、
前記ブラック映像に切替えられるステップは、所定時間入力が行われずにスリープモードに切替えられるステップを含み、前記第1電源の電圧が順次下降させられる毎に所定の信号が入力されたか否かをチェックし、所定の信号が入力された場合に、通常電圧を有する第1電源が生成されて画面全体の前記画素に供給されるステップを含むことを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記ブラック映像に切替えられるステップは、電源がオフされるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電界発光表示装置の駆動方法。
- 走査線及びデータ線の交差部に位置し、第1電源から有機発光ダイオードを経由して第2電源に流れる電流量を制御する画素を含む画素部と、
前記画素部で表示される映像がブラック映像に切替えられたとき、画面切替信号を生成するタイミング制御部と、
前記画面切替信号が入力されたとき、少なくとも4個以上のレベル信号を順次生成する電圧制御部と、
前記レベル信号が入力されるたびに、前記第1電源の電圧を略等間隔で順次下降させる第1電源生成部と
を備え、
前記タイミング制御部は、少なくとも所定時間外部から入力が行われずにスリープモードに切替えられたときに前記画面切替信号を生成し、前記タイミング制御部は、前記第1電源生成部が第1電源の電圧を順次下降させる毎に所定の信号が入力されたか否かをチェックし、所定の信号が入力された場合に、前記画面切替信号の供給を中断し、前記第1電源生成部は、通常電圧を有する第1電源を生成して画面全体の前記画素に供給することを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記タイミング制御部は、電源がオフされたとき、前記画面切替信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第1電源生成部は、前記画素部でブラック映像が表示されるまで、前記第1電源の電圧を下降させることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記走査線に走査信号を供給するための走査駆動部と、
前記データ線にデータ信号を供給するためのデータ駆動部と
を備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
