Description

Claims (30)
- インペラを有し、流体の相対的な移動を誘起する装置であって、前記インペラは、ハブと、各々が前記ハブによって支持されかつ前記ハブに取り付けられた近位端と遠位端とを有する複数のブレードと、を備え、
前記複数のブレードは、前記ハブの軸方向に離間された複数のブレード列に配置され、かつ、前記各ブレード列が1つまたは前記ハブ周りに複数のブレードを含み、
前記インペラは、前記ブレードの各々が前記ハブから離れて延在する展開形態と、前記インペラが半径方向に圧縮され前記ブレードの各々の前記遠位端が前記ハブ側に移動した格納形態とを有する、装置。 - 前記各ブレード列が2つのブレードを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記インペラが、2つのブレード列を備え、前記各ブレード列が2つのブレードを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- スリーブをさらに備え、前記インペラの少なくとも一部が前記スリーブ内に配置され、前記インペラが回転するときに、前記流体が前記スリーブ内を流れるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記スリーブが拡張可能であり、前記インペラが展開形態にある状態で拡張形態となるように構成されている、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記スリーブは、前記インペラが前記格納状態において配置される非拡張部分と、前記インペラが前記展開形態において配置される拡張可能部分とを有する、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記ブレードの少なくとも1つが前記遠位端に小翼を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記インペラが、単一のインペラ体で構成され、前記インペラ体が前記ハブと前記複数のブレードとを備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記各ブレードがポリマーで構成され、前記ポリマーが、運転負荷時において前記展開形態を変形させる第1の弾性率と、前記各ブレードを前記格納形態に変形させる第2の弾性率とを有し、前記第1の弾性率が、前記第2の弾性率よりも略10倍大きい、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ポリマーが、低曲げ弾性率のポリウレタンである、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記インペラは、運転形態をさらに備え、前記運転形態は、前記展開形態の前記インペラの回転による前記各ブレードの変形によって達成され、
前記インペラの前記運転形態が数値的に最適化されている、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 第1端と第2端とを有する可撓性シャフトをさらに備え、前記可撓性シャフトの前記第1端は、前記インペラに機械的に連結されており、前記インペラが、前記可撓性シャフの前記第2端に作用するトルクによって回転するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記インペラは、前記格納形態から前記展開形態に自己拡張可能であり、前記インペラの自己拡張が、前記格納形態にある前記インペラに貯えられた歪エネルギーによってなされる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が液体用軸流ポンプである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記インペラが、前記ハブと前記複数のブレードとを備える単一ポリマー体を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記インペラは、前記複数のブレードの少なくとも1つの前記近位端に隣接して凹みを有し、前記凹みは、前記少なくとも1つのブレードの前記近位端の少なくとも一部に沿って細長く延在している、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記各ブレードが可撓性を有し、前記インペラは、前記各ブレードが前記ハブから離れて延在する展開形態と、前記インペラが半径方向に圧縮され前記各ブレードの前記遠位端が前記ハブ側に移動した格納形態とを有しており、前記凹みは、前記格納形態に移行すべく前記各ブレードの前記遠位端を前記ハブ側に移動させるのを容易にする、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記凹みが、前記少なくとも1つのブレードの前記近位端の一部と実質的に平行でかつ隣接して延在する前記ハブ内の溝である、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのブレードが第1面と第2面とを有し、前記凹みが、前記少なくとも1つのブレードの前記第1面の前記近位端と平行でかつ隣接して延在する第1溝である、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのブレードの前記第2面の前記近位端と平行でかつ隣接して延在する第2溝をさらに備えている、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのブレードが翼断面形状をなし、前記凹みが、前記ブレードの近位端と平行に前記インペラに形成された湾曲した溝である、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が液体用軸流ポンプである、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が、乗物の動力源を構成している、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記複数のブレードの各々が前記凹みを有している、請求項16に記載の装置。
- インペラを有し、流体の相対的な移動を誘起する装置であって、前記インペラは、ハブと、各々が前記ハブによって支持されかつ前記ハブに取り付けられた近位端と遠位端とを有すると共に第1面と第2面とを有しかつ可撓性を有する複数のブレードと、を備え、
前記複数のブレードは、前記ハブの軸方向に離間された複数のブレード列に配置され、かつ、前記各ブレード列が1つまたは前記ハブ周りに複数のブレードを含み、
前記インペラは、前記ブレードの各々が前記ハブから離れて延在する展開形態と、前記インペラが半径方向に圧縮され前記ブレードの各々の前記遠位端が前記ハブ側に移動した格納形態とを有しており、前記ブレードの少なくとも1つが、前記ブレードの前記遠位端において前記ブレードの前記第1面から延出した小翼を有する、装置。 - 前記インペラが前記スリーブ内で回転する際に、前記小翼が、前記スリーブの内面と協働して流体軸受を形成するように構成されている、請求項25に記載の装置。
- 前記インペラは、前記格納形態から前記展開形態に自己拡張可能であり、前記インペラの自己拡張が、前記格納形態にある前記インペラに貯えられた歪エネルギーによってなされる、請求項25に記載の装置。
- 前記第1面が前記少なくとも1つのブレードの正圧面である、請求項25に記載の装置。
- 前記第2面が前記少なくとも1つのブレードの負圧面である、請求項25に記載の装置。
- 前記小翼が、前記少なくとも1つのブレードの前記第2面からも延出している、請求項25に記載の装置。
