Claims (11)
- それぞれ多角形底面を有する互いに連続した、ただし互いに相対変位した2つのセミボディ(12、14)を備えるインデクサブルインサート(10)であって、
一方の前記セミボディ(14)に複数の荒削りバイト(30、31)が、他方の前記セミボディ(12)に複数の仕上げバイト(32)がそれぞれ設けられて、一方の前記セミボディ(14)の前記荒削りバイト(30、31)と他方の前記セミボディ(12)の前記仕上げバイト(32)とは、同時に工作物に作用し得るように配置され、
前記複数の荒削りバイト(30、31)は、セミボディの底面とセミボディの側面(18、20)との間のエッジによって形成され、
前記複数の仕上げバイト(32)は、セミボディの側面(18、20、22、24)の2つの面の交差部に形成されている
ことを特徴とする、インデクサブルインサート(10)。 - 底面(16)は、n角形であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のインデクサブルインサート。
- 前記底面(16)は、正方形であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のインデクサブルインサート。
- それぞれの前記セミボディ(12、14)は一般に角錐台の形状を有し、双方の角錐台は前記角錐台の上面で互いに連続していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のインデクサブルインサート。
- 前記荒削りバイト(30、31)は、一方の前記セミボディ(12、14)の前記底面(16)と側面(18、20、22、24)との交線によって形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のインデクサブルインサート。
- 前記荒削りバイトは、互いに隣接した2つの前記側面(18、20、22、24)間の交線(31)によって延長されていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のインデクサブルインサート。
- 前記荒削りバイトとして作用する互いに隣接した2つの側面の前記交線(31)は、コーナ丸み部(31)、単一コーナ面取り部(31)または二重コーナ面取り部として形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のインデクサブルインサート。
- 前記荒削りバイトとして作用する互いに隣接した2つの側面の前記交線(31)は、前記コーナ丸み部(31)、前記単一コーナ面取り部(31)および/または前記二重コーナ面取り部の組み合わせとして形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のインデクサブルインサート。
- 前記仕上げバイト(32)は、屈曲して延びていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のインデクサブルインサート。
- 前記仕上げバイト(32)は、真っ直ぐに延びていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のインデクサブルインサート。
- 前記仕上げバイト(32)は、前記インデクサブルインサート(10)の作動ポジションにおいて、前記荒削りバイト(30、31)よりも0.01〜0.1mm外側へ突き出ていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のインデクサブルインサート。
