Claims (4)
- 光源と、
前記光源から出射される光を光ディスクの情報記録面に集光する対物レンズと、
前記光源と前記対物レンズとの間の光路中に配置され、光軸方向に可動して前記対物レンズへと至る光の収束或いは発散状態を調整する可動レンズと、
前記可動レンズの位置を調整するレンズ位置調整手段と、
環境温度を検出する温度検出手段と、を備え、
前記レンズ位置調整手段は、前記環境温度に対応して前記可動レンズの位置を調整するように設けられ、
前記対物レンズは、前記可動レンズから前記対物レンズへと至る光の光軸に対して傾斜して配置され、
前記可動レンズが移動することによって発生量が変動するコマ収差を第1のコマ収差とし、前記環境温度の変化に伴って前記光ディスクの反り状態が変化することによって発生量が変動するコマ収差を第2のコマ収差とした場合に、
前記対物レンズの傾斜方向は、前記第1のコマ収差の発生方向が前記光ディスクの半径方向となるとともに、前記環境温度変化に対するコマ収差の発生量の増減方向が前記第1のコマ収差と前記第2のコマ収差との間で逆となるように決定されていることを特徴とする光ピックアップ装置。 - 前記対物レンズの傾斜量は、使用環境温度範囲の全域又はほぼ全域で、前記第1のコマ収差と前記第2のコマ収差とがほぼ打ち消し合う関係となるように決定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光ピックアップ装置。
- 前記対物レンズが樹脂レンズであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の光ピックアップ装置。
- 前記可動レンズがコリメートレンズあることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の光ピックアップ装置。
