Claims (6)
- 所定以上の硬さ及び強度の薄切可能な素材板からなり採取された生物組織を載置する基板(11)と、基板(11)と一体の前記素材板を折曲させ、又は別体の前記素材板を着脱自在として開閉する蓋板(12)とを備え、基板(11)に生物組織を密着・保持して収納する収納部(13B)を設け、蓋板(12)を閉じてその間に生物組織を密着・保持し生物組織の移動を阻止する密着・保持部材(13A)を基板(11)の収納部(13B)内に蓋板(12)を介して又は着脱自在に設け、基板(11)および蓋板(12)には固定および包埋に用いる液が浸入可能な多数の小孔(16)を設けた生物組織固定・包埋・薄切用カセット。
- 前記収納部(13B)を、短冊状の生物組織の形状に対応する溝(13)、不整な生物組織の形状に対応する凹み(13b)、又は不整形な生物組織を収納するのに十分な平面状広さを有する凹み(13b)のいずれかとしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の生物組織固定・包埋・薄切用カセット。
- 前記薄切可能な素材板を耐水性、耐固定剤性、耐有機溶剤性、耐包埋剤性、かつ−30℃〜65℃の耐温度性を有する合成高分子化合物、特殊加工紙類、又は上記素材板と同等の特性を有する生物素材からなる板のいずれかとしたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の生物組織固定・包埋・薄切用カセット。
- 前記基板(11)の外周辺に沿って周縁板(17)を形成し、その側辺に支持部材(17a)を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の生物組織固定・包埋・薄切用カセット。
- 前記請求項4に記載の生物組織固定・包埋・薄切用カセットの基板(11)下の収納部(13B)内に生物組織を収容し、蓋板(12)を閉じて生物組織固定・包埋・薄切用カセットを固定液中に浸漬して、密着・保持部材(13A)で生物組織を定着させた状態で生物組織を固定し、その後固定・包埋・薄切用カセットを自動包埋装置に設置して脱水した後、包埋剤浸透槽内に入れて固定・包埋・薄切用カセット内の生物組織に包埋剤を浸透させ、次いでこの固定・包埋・薄切用カセットを自動包埋装置より取り出し包埋皿(40)内に入れ、その上から包埋剤を注入し、固定・包埋・薄切用カセットを包埋した後、包埋皿(40)を分離して薄切用包埋ブロックを形成し、この薄切用包埋ブロックを、組織切片作成用ミクロトームに設置して、固定・包埋・薄切用カセットを含む薄切用包埋ブロックを薄切する生物組織の固定・包埋・薄切用カセットの固定・包埋・薄切操作方法。
- 前記請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の固定・包埋・薄切用カセットに生物組織を入れた後、直ちに固定・包埋・薄切用カセット内に凍結切片作成用包埋剤を注入包埋し、蓋板(12)で蓋をした後、固定・包埋・薄切用カセットを冷凍し、その後、クリオスタットで薄切する生物組織の固定・包埋・薄切用カセットの固定・包埋・薄切操作方法。
