Claims (2)
- 一端にインペラを有しケーシングの内側で回転する回転軸と、回転軸を支持する軸受装置と、回転軸を制御する制御装置とを備え、インペラの回転によって空気をケーシングの気体流通部内の空間で圧縮して燃料電池に供給する燃料電池用圧縮機において、軸受装置は、回転軸に同心状に設けられて回転軸を径方向から支持する1対のラジアルフォイル軸受と、回転軸にアキシアル方向から対向させられて回転軸をアキシアル方向から支持する制御型アキシアル磁気軸受とを備えており、制御装置は、回転軸の回転速度が所定値以下であった時間を積算して接触累計時間を求め、これによりラジアルフォイル軸受の軸受寿命の判定を行う軸受寿命診断手段を有していることを特徴とする燃料電池用圧縮機。
- 軸受寿命診断手段は、積算時間が警告用所定時間に達した場合に運転者に警告する警告手段と、積算時間が警告用所定時間よりもさらに大きい起動不可用所定時間に達した場合に自動車の起動を不可能とする起動不可手段とを有していることを特徴とする請求項1の燃料電池用圧縮機。
