Description
R3は水素原子、メチル基、またはエチル基であり、nは1より大きい場合、R3で表される基または原子は同一または異なるものであってもよい;
Aは式 −[O(CHR2CHR1)a]y−、−[O(CH2)bCO]y−、または -[O(CH2)bCO](y-1)-[O(CHR2CHR1)a]- の基を表し、式中R1とR2の一方は水素原子を表し、他方は水素原子、メチル基、またはエチル基を表し;
aは1〜2の数であり;
bは4〜5の数であり;
Qは2〜6個のヒドロキシ基を有するポリヒドロキシ化合物の残基であり;
xは1より大きく、Qの利用できる水酸基の数を越えない数であり;
xが1より大きく、2を越えない場合、yは1〜10の数であり;そして、
xが2を越える場合、yは3〜10の数である}で表される光開始剤化合物とそのエステルである。
あるいは、nが2〜6であれば、代わりにR3基の内の一つが水素原子、メチル基またはエチル基であり、他のR3が水素原子であることが望ましい。
特にxが2であり、yが1〜10の数である化合物が望ましい。
(HA)x−Q (III)
(式中、A,x,Qは前記の定義通り)のコア化合物と反応させることにより、調整することができる。

実施例3の生成物
1.35の色濃度でカートンボード基材の上に処方を印刷し、300W/インチ(120W/cm)の中圧水銀ランプの下を四回通して硬化させた。それらの相対的硬化レベルは、耐擦過性、親指ねじれ(thuwb twist)、およびイソプロパノール摩擦テストの組み合わせを使用することで評価した。

光開始剤の蒸気相への移動分析
硬化したプリントに対し、例11と同様に同じの2つサンプルを作成した。これら50cm2のサンプルをペトリ皿に置き、1.0gのTenaxでカバーした。このサンプルを180℃まで10分間加熱し、Tenaxをジエチルエーテルによって抽出した後、高速液体クロマトグラフィによって光開始剤を定量した。

Claims (20)
- 式(I):
R3は水素原子、メチル基、またはエチル基であり、nが1より大きい場合、R3で表される基または原子は同一または異なるものであってもよい;
Aは式−[O(CHR2CHR1)a]y−、−[O(CH2)bCO]y−、または−[O(CH2)bCO](y−1)−[O(CHR2CHR1)a]−の基を表し、
式中R1とR2の一方は水素原子を表し、他方は水素原子、メチル基、またはエチル基を表し;
aは1〜2の数であり;
bは4〜5の数であり;
Qは、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、グリセリン、トリメチロールプロパン、ジトリメチロールプロパン、ペンタエリトリット、ジペンタエリトリット、カプロラクトンポリオールの残基であり;
xは1より大きいが、Qで利用できるヒドロキシ基の数を越えない数であり;
xは1より大きく、2を越えない数であれば、yは1〜10の数であり;そして、
xが2を越える数であれば、yは3〜10の数である}で表される化合物、およびその低級脂肪酸エステルであって、Q内の遊離ヒドロキシル基がエステル化されたもの。 - nが1である請求項1の化合物。
- R3が水素原子を表す請求項2の化合物。
- nが2〜6の数であり、R3基の一つが水素原子、メチル基またはエチル基を表し、他のR3が水素原子を表す請求項1の化合物。
- yが3〜10の数である請求項1〜4の全ての化合物。
- Aが式−[O(CHR2CHR1)a]y−の基を表し、aが1〜2の整数であり、yが3〜10の数である請求項1〜4いずれかの化合物。
- Aが式 −[OCH2CH2]y−、−[OCH2CH2CH2CH2]y−または−[OCH(CH3)CH2]y−の基を表し、yが3〜10の数である請求項1〜4いずれかの化合物。
- Aが式 −[O(CH2)bCO]y−の基を表し、bが4〜5の数であり、yが3〜10の数である請求項1〜4いずれかの化合物。
- Aが式 −[O(CH2)bCO](y−1)−[O(CHR2CHR1)a]−の基を表し、aが1〜2の数、bが4〜5の数、yが3〜10の数である請求項1〜4いずれかの化合物。
- xが2、yが1〜10の数である請求項1〜9いずれかの化合物。
- yが3〜6の数である請求項1〜10いずれかの化合物。
- 残基Q−(A−)xが2000以下の分子量を有する請求項1〜11いずれかの化合物。
- 残基Q−(A−)xが1200以下の分子量を有する請求項12の化合物。
- 残基Q−(A−)xが1000以下の分子量を有する請求項13の化合物。
- 残基Q−(A−)xが800以下の分子量を有する請求項14の化合物。
- Qがエチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、グリセリン、トリメチロールプロパン、ジトリメチロールプロパン、ペンタエリトリットまたはジペンタエリトリットの残基である請求項1〜15いずれかの化合物。
- (a)少なくとも1つのエチレン性不飽和モノマーかオリゴマーである重合性成分と、(b)請求項1〜16いずれかの光開始剤を含むエネルギー硬化型液体組成物。
- 印刷用インクである請求項17のエネルギー硬化型液体組成物。
- 請求項17と18の組成物に放射線を照射することで高分子組成物の硬化物を調整する製法。
- 放射線が紫外線である請求項19の製法。
