Description
Claims (5)
- 燃料が、高圧ポンプ装置によって、燃料タンクを含む低圧範囲から、高圧範囲へと搬送され、当該高圧範囲が、それぞれ搬送配管(6)(以下の記載および本願の明細書の記載においては、「接続配管」(6)とも表記する)を介して互いの間を全て直列に接続された複数のレール(5)から成るコモンレール(5、6、7、13)を含むものであり、前記複数のレール(5)がそれぞれ、内燃機関の少なくとも1つのシリンダに前記燃料を供給するための絞り、貫流制限および流量制限のための全制御手段を一体に組み込んでなるレール蓋(7)によって、両端面を閉じられており、各前記搬送配管(6)は、前記レール蓋(7)にそれぞれ接続されており、かつ前記複数のレール(5)がそれぞれ、少なくとも2つの前記シリンダに前記燃料を供給するための貯蓄容量を有して、前記内燃機関に沿って配置されており、当該内燃機関の複数の前記シリンダに対して前記燃料を供給する、コモンレール式燃料供給装置であって、
前記高圧ポンプ装置として、複数の高圧ポンプ(3)を備え、かつ当該複数の高圧ポンプ(3)は;
(a) 前記複数の高圧ポンプ(3)のうちの少なくとも1つの高圧ポンプ(3)が、1つのポンプ配管(12)を介して、前記複数のレール(5)のうちの1つのレール(5)とそれに隣接して配置された1つの他のレール(5)との間に接続されている1つの搬送配管(6)に流体的に接続されており、かつ前記1つの高圧ポンプ(3)とは異なる少なくとも1つの他の高圧ポンプ(3)が、前記1つのポンプ配管(12)とは異なる1つの他のポンプ配管(12)を介して、前記1つの搬送配管(6)とは異なる少なくとも1つの他の搬送配管(6)であってかつ前記1つの他のレール(5)に接続されている搬送配管(6)に流体的に接続されている、
または、
(b) 前記複数の高圧ポンプ(3)のうちの少なくとも1つの高圧ポンプ(3)が、1つのポンプ配管(12)を介して、前記複数のレール(5)のうちの1つのレール(5)に設けられているレール蓋(7)に直接に流体的に接続されており、かつ前記1つの高圧ポンプ(3)とは異なる少なくとも1つの他の高圧ポンプ(3)が、前記1つのポンプ配管(12)とは異なる1つの他のポンプ配管(12)を介して、前記1つのレール(5)と当該1つのレール(5)に隣接して配置された1つの他のレール(5)との間に接続されている1つの搬送配管(6)に流体的に接続されている、
または、
(c) 前記複数の高圧ポンプ(3)のうちの少なくとも2つの高圧ポンプ(3)が、それぞれ、別個のポンプ配管(12)を各々介して、互いに隣接した2つのレール(5)にそれぞれ設けられているレール蓋(7)の一つ一つに、各々直接に流体的に接続されている
という3種類の流体的な接続構造のうちの、少なくともいずれか1種類の流体的な接続構造を備えて、全ての前記複数のレール(5)が流体的に直列に1つの高圧ポンプ(3)からの前記燃料の供給を受けるのではなくて、前記複数のレール(5)のうちの少なくとも1つのレール(5)が、前記複数の高圧ポンプ(3)のうちの異なった2つの高圧ポンプ(3)から供給される前記燃料を、それぞれ当該1つのレール(5)の左右両端に設けられている2つのレール蓋(7)の両方にて、直接および/または前記搬送配管(6)を介して、流体的に受けるようにした
ことを特徴とするコモンレール式燃料供給装置。 - 前記レール蓋(7)の一つ一つが、前記高圧ポンプ(3)に流体的に接続されるための別個の流体的管継手を各々備えた
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のコモンレール式燃料供給装置。 - 前記ポンプ配管(12)が、前記搬送配管(6)の流れ断面積以上の流れ断面積を有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のコモンレール式燃料供給装置。 - 前記複数のレール(5)の配列のうちの左右いずれか一端に配置されているレール(5)には、前記燃料の前記低圧範囲への逆止め弁(101)付き接続配管が流体的に接続されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のうちのいずれか1つの項に記載のコモンレール式燃料供給装置。 - 前記複数のレール(5)の配列のうちの中間に配置されているレール(5)からの、または前記複数の高圧ポンプ(3)の配列のうちの中間に配置されている高圧ポンプ(3)による、前記燃料の供給のために、前記燃料の前記低圧範囲への逆止め弁(101)付き接続配管が利用され、かつ前記複数のレール(5)の配列のうちの両端のレール(5)における前記燃料の排出のために、排出弁(10)付き接続配管が接続されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1から4のうちのいずれか1つの項に記載の燃料供給装置。
