- 永久磁石によりそれぞれ界磁を発生する第1ロータおよび第2ロータと、両ロータのうちの第1ロータと一体に回転可能な出力軸とを互いに同軸に備えると共に、前記第2ロータが前記第1ロータに対して相対回転可能に設けられ、該第2ロータの相対回転によって両ロータ間の位相差を変更することにより、各ロータの永久磁石の界磁を合成してなる合成界磁の強さを変更可能とした電動機の制御装置であって、
前記第1ロータに対する第2ロータの相対回転を行なわせる駆動力を発生するアクチュエータを有する位相差変更駆動手段と、
前記出力軸に発生させるトルクの値と該出力軸の回転速度の値との組を、該トルクの値と回転速度の値とを座標成分とする2軸座標平面上の点として表現した場合における当該点が、該2軸座標平面上の原点を含む該原点の近傍の領域としてあらかじめ設定された所定領域内に存在するとき、両ロータ間の位相差を、前記合成界磁の強さが最大となる位相差よりも該合成界磁の強さが低くなる所定の位相差に前記位相差変更駆動手段を介して制御する位相差制御手段とを備え、

前記出力軸に発生させるトルクの値の絶対値が所定の設定トルク以下であり、且つ、前記出力軸の回転速度の値が所定の設定速度以下であるとき、両ロータ間の位相差を、前記合成界磁の強さが最大となる位相差よりも該合成界磁の強さが低くなる所定の位相差に前記位相差変更駆動手段を介して制御する位相差制御手段とを備え、
前記所定の位相差は、前記合成界磁の強さが最小となる位相差よりも該合成界磁の強さが高くなる位相差に設定されていることを特徴とする電動機の制御装置。 - 前記出力軸に発生させるトルクの値と該出力軸の回転速度の値との組に対応する前記2軸座標平面上の点が前記所定領域から逸脱しているとき、前記位相差制御手段は、前記出力軸に発生させるトルクの値の絶対値が大きいほど、前記合成界磁の強さが高くなるように前記両ロータ間位相差を前記位相差変更駆動装置を介して制御することを特徴とする請求項1記載の電動機の制御装置。
- 前記出力軸に発生されるトルクの値の絶対値が前記所定の設定トルクを超えているか、または、前記出力軸の回転速度が前記所定の設定速度を超えているとき、前記位相差制御手段は、前記出力軸に発生させるトルクの値の絶対値が大きいほど、前記合成界磁の強さが高くなるように前記両ロータ間位相差を前記位相差変更駆動装置を介して制御することを特徴とする請求項2記載の電動機の制御装置。
- 永久磁石によりそれぞれ界磁を発生する第1ロータおよび第2ロータと、両ロータのうちの第1ロータと一体に回転可能な出力軸とを互いに同軸に備えると共に、前記第2ロータが前記第1ロータに対して相対回転可能に設けられ、該第2ロータの相対回転によって両ロータ間の位相差を変更することにより、各ロータの永久磁石の界磁を合成してなる合成界磁の強さを変更可能とした電動機が、推進力発生源として搭載された車両における電動機の制御装置であって、
前記第1ロータに対する第2ロータの相対回転を行なわせる位相差変更駆動手段と、
少なくとも前記電動機の発生トルクによる車両のクリープ走行時に、前記電動機の両ロータ間の位相差を、前記合成界磁の強さが最大となる位相差よりも該合成界磁の強さが低くなる所定の位相差に前記位相差変更駆動手段を介して制御する位相差制御手段とを備え、
前記所定の位相差は、前記合成界磁の強さが最小となる位相差よりも該合成界磁の強さが強くなる位相差に設定されていることを特徴とする電動機の制御装置。
