Description
逆流装置が駆動された際には切換弁が排ガスをバイパス流路へ導き、フィルタの上流側へ吹き出されたPM含有ガス中のPMは副流路を流れてサブフィルタに捕集され、サブフィルタに捕集されたPMはPM含有ガス雰囲気中でオゾン供給手段から供給されたオゾンによって酸化除去されることにある。
図1に本実施例の排ガス浄化装置を示す。この排ガス浄化装置は、例えば、ディーゼルエンジンの排気マニホールドと排気マフラーとの間に配置されて用いられる。
しかしながら、いずれはバイパス流路13に配置されたフィルタ触媒2’にPMが堆積し、再生処理時に排気圧損が上昇するという問題がある。
図7に、比較例1の排ガス浄化装置を示す。この排ガス浄化装置は、排気管1に体積が3Lであること以外は実施例1と同様のフィルタ触媒2を配置し、その上流側にオゾン発生器60に連結されたオゾン供給バルブ6が配置されている。
図7において、オゾン発生器60に連結されたオゾン供給バルブ6に代えて燃料圧縮添加装置に連結された燃料添加バルブを用いたこと以外は、比較例1と同様である。

Claims (6)
- フィルタで排ガス中のPMを捕集する捕集工程と、
該排ガスより低温の加圧ガスを吹き付けることでフィルタに捕集されたPMを強制排出しPM含有ガスを形成する強制排出工程と、
該PM含有ガスにオゾンを接触させ含まれるPMを酸化除去する浄化工程と、を行うことを特徴とする排ガス浄化方法。 - 前記強制排出工程は前記フィルタの下流側から上流側に向けて加圧空気を供給し、生成した前記PM含有ガスをサブフィルタに供給することでPMを捕集し、前記オゾンは該サブフィルタに向けて供給される請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化方法。
- PMを捕集するフィルタを備えた主流路と、
該フィルタの下流側から該フィルタへ向かって加圧ガスを供給し該フィルタに捕集されたPMを該フィルタの上流側へPM含有ガスとして吹き出す逆流装置と、
該フィルタの上流側で該主流路から分岐して延び、PMを濾過するサブフィルタを備え、該逆流装置が駆動された時に該PM含有ガスが流通可能な副流路と、
該サブフィルタの上流側に配置され該副流路にオゾンを供給するオゾン供給手段と、
該フィルタの上流側で該主流路から分岐して延び、該逆流装置が駆動された時に排ガスが流通するバイパス流路と、
排ガス流れを該主流路と該バイパス流路とにそれぞれ切り換える切換弁と、を備え、
該逆流装置が駆動された際には該切換弁が排ガスを該バイパス流路へ導き、該フィルタの上流側へ吹き出された該PM含有ガス中のPMは該副流路を流れて該サブフィルタに捕集され、該サブフィルタに捕集されたPMは該PM含有ガス雰囲気中で該オゾン供給手段から供給されたオゾンによって酸化除去されることを特徴とする排ガス浄化装置。 - 前記バイパス流路にも前記フィルタと前記逆流装置とが設けられている請求項3に記載の排ガス浄化装置。
- 前記副流路の下流側には前記副流路を開閉する開閉弁が設けられ、該開閉弁によって前記副流路が閉じられた時は、排ガスが前記主流路及び前記バイパス流路の両方を流れる請求項4に記載の排ガス浄化装置。
- 前記フィルタは、触媒コート層を有する請求項3〜5のいずれかに記載の排ガス浄化装置。
