Description
本発明は、請求項1の上位概念に記載の排気ガス後処理装置、すなわち内燃機関の排気系内で排気ガスを後処理するための排気ガス後処理装置であって、排気系に内燃機関の排気ガスのNOx成分を還元するための触媒が配置されており、さらに、排気管を介して触媒に還元剤を導入するための装置が設けられており、該装置が調量弁を有している形式のものに関する。
本発明による排気ガス後処理装置では、排気管が、調量弁への直接的な熱取込みを減少させ、かつ/または、調量弁からの高められた放熱を可能にするために形成されている。この場合、排気ガス後処理装置の熱に敏感な構成部分、特に調量弁または調量弁の弁先端部が排気ガスの熱流から保護され、ひいてはパッシブに冷却されるか、もしくは、熱が、熱に敏感な構成部分を負荷する場合には、熱ができるだけ迅速に導出され得ると有利である。アクティブな冷却循環路を提供することは、もはや必要でなくなるので好都合となり、これによって、排気ガス後処理装置は著しく簡単化される。
以下に、本発明の実施例を図面につき詳しく説明する。
図1には、内燃機関の排気系内で排気ガスを後処理するための本発明による排気ガス後処理装置の有利な実施例が概略的な断面図で図示されている。この排気系には内燃機関の排気ガスの窒素酸化物(NOx)成分を還元するための触媒(図示しない)が配置されている。図2、図4、図5および図6には、それぞれ図1の詳細図が図示されている。図3には、フランジ12の択一的な別の実施例が図示されている。図面では、同一の構成要素はそれぞれ同一の符号で表される。
Claims (8)
- 内燃機関の排気系内で排気ガスを後処理するための排気ガス後処理装置であって、排気系に内燃機関の排気ガスのNOx成分を還元するための触媒が配置されており、さらに、排気管(11)を介して触媒に還元剤を導入するための装置が設けられており、該装置が調量弁(10)を有しており、排気管(11)が、調量弁(10)への直接的な熱取込みを減少させ、かつ/または、調量弁(10)からの高められた放熱を可能にするために形成されており、排気管(11)が、フランジ(12)を有しており、該フランジ(12)に調量弁(10)がフランジ締結されており、調量弁(10)を保持するために、保持体(24)が設けられている形式のものにおいて、フランジ(12)が、組み付けられた状態で調量弁(10)の前記保持体(24)に対する接触領域(22)に、熱導出性のエレメント(21)を面状に受け止めるための載着部(23)を形成していることを特徴とする、排気ガス後処理装置。
- 排気管(11)内への還元剤の流入方向(13)と、排気管(11)内での排気ガス流方向(14)との間に鋭角の角度(15)が形成されている、請求項1記載の排気ガス後処理装置。
- 排気管(11)の弁近傍の領域(17)で発生する、排気ガス流の再循環流(16)が変向可能となるようにフランジ(12)が構成されている、請求項1または2記載の排気ガス後処理装置。
- フランジ(12)の、弁近傍の領域(17)が、膨らみを持って形成されている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の排気ガス後処理装置。
- 調量弁(10)を再循環流(16)から保護するためのシールドエレメント(18)が形成されている、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の排気ガス後処理装置。
- 調量弁(10)の少なくとも所定の範囲が、高い熱伝導率を有する材料から成るジャケット(19)によって被覆されている、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の排気ガス後処理装置。
- 前記保持体(24)の少なくとも流入側(25)に、低い熱伝導率を有する材料から成るエレメント(26)が配置されている、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の排気ガス後処理装置。
- 調量弁(10)の前記ジャケット(19)が、少なくとも所定の範囲で前記保持体(24)から間隔を置いて配置されている、請求項6または7記載の排気ガス後処理装置。
