- 1)近位ダイレータ端(28)を有する細長いダイレータステム(26)、及び
2)近位ダイレータ端(28)に固定状態で接続されると共に、その遠位部(29)にロック部(30)を含むダイレータハブ(20)を
有する
a)ダイレータ(12)と、
1)近位シース端(52)、遠位シース端(54)と近位シース端と遠位シース端の間を延在する長手方向軸心を有すると共に、ダイレータステムを摩擦的に係止するように寸法設定された細長い管状部(43)、
2)近位シース端と遠位シース端の間を延在する少なくとも1個の引裂き継目(58)、及び
3)近位シース端(52)に固定状態で接続され、近位部(50)を含むと共に、更に、長手方向軸心を横切るように、近位部内に固定された弁(260、360)と相手ロック部(53)を含み、更に、弁が、ダイレータステムの貫通を許容するシースハブ(40、140、240、340)を

- シースハブ(40、140、240、340)が2個の反対向きの翼状タブ(42)を備え、又、各翼状タブ(42)が垂直部(44)と屈曲部(46)を含み、更に、垂直部が、管状部(43)の長手方向軸心に垂直な平面内でシースハブから側方に延在すると共に、翼状タブの屈曲部(46)が垂直部から延在する一方、垂直部の近位面と屈曲部の間の角度が、約90°と約179°の間、好ましくは、約130°と約140°の間である請求項1に記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(10、200、300)。
- 弁(260)が、シースハブ(240)の相手ロック部(253)の近位側に配置された請求項2に記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(200)。
- ダイレータ・シース組立物(200)の長手方向引裂きを容易にするように、弁が、間隙(248)及び引裂き継目(258)に心合せされるようにその内部に形成された長手方向スリット(262)を含むことにより、弁が、引裂き自在である請求項2乃至4のいずれかに記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(200)。
- 弁(360)が、シースハブ(340)の相手ロック部(353)の遠位側に配置され、又、キャップ(364)が、シースハブ(340)の近位端に固定されていると共に、相手ロック部(353)を含み、更に、キャップは弁(360)を所定位置に堅固に維持する請求項2に記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(300)。
- 弁をシースハブ内に更に確実に固定するように、キャップ(364)が、弁(360)の円周面の回りの対応する環状係止溝(372)内に配置された突起(374)を含む請求項6に記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(300)。
- 少なくとも1個の引裂き継目が、前記平面内に配置された2個の引裂き継目(58)を備えると共に、前記平面はシース(14)を長手方向に2分し、又、シースハブ(40)は、その細長い管状部に沿って管状部(43)の長手方向軸心に平行に配置された2個の反対向きの間隙(48、141、248)を更に備え、且つ、反対向きの間隙(48、141、248)が、2個の引裂き継目(58、258)を含む前記平面内に配置される一方、キャップ(364)が凹所(370)を含み、又、弁(360)が、その近位面(366)に切欠き(368)を更に含み、且つ、ダイレータ・シース組立物(300)の長手方向引裂きを容易にするように、凹所と切欠きの両方が間隙(48、141、248)及び引裂き継目(58、258)と心合せされる請求項6に記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(300)。
- 2個の引裂き継目(58、258)が、近位シース端(52)と遠位シース端(54)の間を管状部(43)に沿って延在すると共に、シースの両側に配置され、更に、シースの長手方向軸心を含む平面内にあり、
反対向きの第1シースハブ部分(145)と第2シースハブ部分(148)が、一緒にハブ(140)を形成し、又、第1シースハブ部分(145)と第2シースハブ部分(148)の各々が、シースに固定状態で接続された逆半円形縁部を備えることにより、第1シースハブ部分と第2シースハブ部分は管状のシース(14)を大体囲繞して、管状ハブ部分に沿って第1シースハブ部分と第2シースハブ部分の間に小さな空間(141)があり、更に、第1シースハブ部分と第2シースハブ部分の間の空間が、シース(14)上の2個の引裂き継目(58、258)と心合せされ、且つ、第1シースハブ部分と第2シースハブ部分の各々が、その近位端にロック部(53)を備えることにより、第1ロック部(145)と第2ロック部(148)が、シースの近位端(52)を成す円形ロック部を形成すると共に、ダイレータ(12)とシース(14)の間の解除自在のロッキング係合をもたらすように、ロック部(53)がダイレータハブ(20)のロック部(30)と係合自在である請求項1に記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(10、200、300)。 - 反対向きの第1シースハブ部分(145)と第2シースハブ部分(148)が、長手方向軸心の両側上の少なくとも1個のウェブ(149)によって長手方向軸心の一方の側で互いに接続され、又、少なくとも1個のウェブ(149)が、シース(14)の回りの完全な円を形成するように第1シースハブ部分と第2シースハブ部分に接着される、シースハブ(140)の脆弱部を構成し、更に、少なくとも1個のウェブ(149)がシースハブ(140)より小さい引張り強さを有し、且つ、少なくとも1個のウェブが、シースハブ(140)の近位開口(151)に沿って位置決めされることにより、少なくとも1個のウェブと2個のシースハブ部分が同面の頂面(150)を形成し、又、同面の頂面が大体平坦であり、更に、同面の頂面がシースの長手方向軸心に垂直であり、且つ、同面の頂面(150)が管状のシース(14)の近位端を形成する請求項9に記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(10、200、300)。
- 反対向きの第1シースハブ部分(145)と第2シースハブ部分(148)が、両側の各々で部材(149)によって長手方向軸心の一方の側で接続され、又、前記部材が、シースの回りの完全な円を形成するように、ハブに接着され、更に、シースの引裂きとシースの軸心と2個の引裂き継目を含む平面に沿ったシースの分離を助けるように、前記部材は第1シースハブ部分と第2シースハブ部分より小さい引張り強さを有する請求項10に記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(10、200、300)。
- 弁(260)が、シースハブ(240)の相手ロック部(253)の近位側に配置された請求項9乃至11のいずれかに記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(200)。
- ダイレータ・シース組立物(200)の長手方向引裂きを容易にするように、間隙(248)と引裂き継目(258)に心合せされた長手方向スリット(262)が、弁に形成された請求項9乃至12のいずれかに記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(200)。
- 弁(360)が、シースハブ(340)の相手ロック部(353)の遠位側に配置され、又、キャップ(364)が、シースハブ(340)の遠位端に固定されると共にロック部(353)を含み、更に、キャップが、弁(360)を所定位置に堅固に維持する請求項9乃至11のいずれかに記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(300)。
- 弁をシースハブ内に更に確実に固定するように、キャップ(364)が、弁(360)の円周面の回りの対応する環状係止溝(372)内に配置された突起(374)を含む請求項14に記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(300)。
- キャップ(364)が凹所(370)を含み、又、弁(360)が、その近位面(366)に切欠き(368)を更に含み、且つ、ダイレータ・シース組立物(300)の長手方向引裂きを容易にするように、凹所と切欠きの両方が間隙(48、141、248)及び引裂き継目(58、258)と心合せされる請求項14に記載のダイレータ・シース組立物(300)。
