Description
また、請求項6に記載したように、増幅回路の増幅用抵抗として、直列接続された少なくとも3つの抵抗を備え、それら少なくとも3つの抵抗は、いずれかが増幅回路の入力抵抗となり、残り全てが帰還抵抗となるものであり、そのうちいずれが入力抵抗になるかを、スイッチ素子の切換により変更するとよい。
GA=(R2+R3)/R1 …(式1)
となる。
GB=R3/(R1+R2) …(式2)
となる。
GC=(R2+R3)/R1 …(式3)
となる。
GD=R3/R1 …(式4)
となる。
GE=R3/Rx …(式5)
となる。ただし、Rxは増幅用抵抗56,57による合成抵抗値である。
GF=R3/R2 …(式6)
となる。
Claims (6)
- 固体電解質よりなるセンサ素子を有し被検出ガス中の特定成分のガス濃度を広域に検出可能なガス濃度センサと、
前記センサ素子への電圧印加時に当該素子に流れる電流を計測するための電流計測用抵抗と、
オペアンプ及び増幅率決定のための複数の増幅用抵抗を有してなり前記電流計測用抵抗により計測した素子電流信号を増幅する増幅回路と、
を備え、前記増幅回路から出力される電気信号に基づいてガス濃度演算を実施するガス濃度検出装置において、
前記複数の増幅用抵抗は、いずれかが前記増幅回路の入力抵抗となり、残りの全てが帰還抵抗となるものであり、そのうちいずれが入力抵抗になるかを切り換えるためのスイッチ素子を設け、該スイッチ素子の切換に伴い前記増幅回路の増幅率を可変設定する構成としたことを特徴とするガス濃度検出装置。 - 前記オペアンプの信号入力経路上に前記スイッチ素子を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガス濃度検出装置。
- ガス濃度検出レンジとして、第1検出レンジとそれよりもレンジ幅が大きい第2検出レンジとをあらかじめ規定しておき、前記第1検出レンジ内でガス濃度検出を行う場合に、前記第2検出レンジ内でガス濃度検出を行う場合よりも前記増幅回路の増幅率が大きくなるよう前記スイッチ素子の切換を実施する切換制御手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のガス濃度検出装置。
- 内燃機関から排出される燃焼ガスを検出対象とし、前記素子電流信号に基づき空燃比の検出を行う空燃比検出装置として適用され、
ストイキを含むストイキ近傍レンジである前記第1検出レンジとしてのナローレンジと、前記ナローレンジよりも広域であって該ナローレンジのリッチ側限界よりもリッチ側の領域とリーン側限界よりもリーン側の領域とを含む前記第2検出レンジとしてのワイドレンジとが空燃比検出レンジとして規定されており、
前記切換制御手段は、前記空燃比検出レンジをナローレンジ、ワイドレンジのいずれにするかに応じて前記スイッチ素子の切換を実施することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のガス濃度検出装置。 - 前記ワイドレンジは、前記内燃機関における燃料カット時の大気検出及びリッチ燃焼運転時のリッチ空燃比検出のいずれか一方、又は両方を可能とする空燃比検出レンジである請求項4に記載のガス濃度検出装置。
- 前記増幅回路の増幅用抵抗として、直列接続された少なくとも3つの抵抗を備え、それら少なくとも3つの抵抗は、いずれかが増幅回路の入力抵抗となり、残り全てが帰還抵抗となるものであり、そのうちいずれが入力抵抗になるかを、前記スイッチ素子の切換により変更する構成としたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のガス濃度検出装置。
