Claims (2)
- ガス放電灯に結合したハーフブリッジを操作する方法であって、前記方法が前記ガス放電灯内での音響共振を回避するだけでなく、電磁干渉を抑制し、電極温度変調の消滅の問題を緩和するための方法であり、
前記ガス放電ランプの高周波動作範囲内の全ての音響共振より上のランプ電流の動作周波数を確立するよう前記ハーフブリッジを操作し、
前記動作周波数に対して周期的に変化する変調信号に応じた周波数変調を適用し、
周期的に変化する波形を有する駆動電圧をハーフブリッジが受けることに応答して、前記ランプ電流に振幅変調を適用するよう前記ハーフブリッジを操作することを特徴とする方法。 - ガス放電灯に結合したハーフブリッジであって、
前記ガス放電ランプの高周波動作範囲内の全ての音響共振より上のランプ電流の動作周波数を確立する手段と、
前記動作周波数に対して周期的に変化する変調信号に応じた周波数変調を適用する手段と、
周期的に変化する波形を有する駆動電圧をハーフブリッジが受けることに応答して、前記ランプ電流に振幅変調を適用する手段とを具えることを特徴とするハーフブリッジ。
