Claims (6)
- アノード(21)を備えたアノードハーフセル(2)と、カソード(31)を備えたカソードハーフセル(3)と、前記アノードハーフセル(2)と前記カソードハーフセル(3)との間に配置されたイオン交換膜(4)とを少なくとも含み、前記カソード(31)がガス拡散電極であり、ギャップ(32)が前記ガス拡散電極(31)と前記イオン交換膜(4)との間に配置され、ガス空間(37)が前記ガス拡散電極(31)の前記ギャップ(32)とは反対側に配置され、前記ガス拡散電極(31)を備えた前記ハーフセル(3)が電解液供給部(33)及び電解液排出部(34)とガス入口(35)及びガス出口(36)を有する、電気化学セル(1)であって、
前記電解液供給部(33)が前記ギャップ(32)に密閉接続され、
前記電解液供給部(33)が前記ハーフセル(3)の上端に備えられ、
前記電解液排出部(34)が前記ハーフセル(3)の下端に備えられ、
前記ガス入口(35)が前記ガス空間(37)の下部に備えられ、
前記ガス出口(36)が前記ガス空間(37)の上部に備えられ、
ガス拡散電極(31)を介してギャップ32に入るガスを外に出すための補償開口(38)が、前記電解液供給部(33)の上部に備えられている、ことを特徴とする電気化学セル(1)。 - フローガイド構造(51;52;53;54)が前記ギャップ(32)に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記フローガイド構造(51;52;53;54)が前記ガス拡散電極(31)と前記イオン交換膜(4)との間にクランプされることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記フローガイド構造(51;52;53;54)が水平に対して傾けられることを特徴とする、請求項2又は3記載の電気化学セル。
- アノード(21)を備えたアノードハーフセル(2)と、カソード(31)を備えたカソードハーフセル(3)と、前記アノードハーフセル(2)と前記カソードハーフセル(3)との間に配置されたイオン交換膜(4)とを少なくとも含み、前記カソード(31)がガス拡散電極であり、ギャップ(32)が前記ガス拡散電極(31)と前記イオン交換膜(4)との間に配置され、ガス空間(37)が前記ガス拡散電極(31)の前記ギャップ(32)とは反対側に配置され、前記ガス拡散電極(31)を備えた前記ハーフセル(3)が電解液供給部(33)及び電解液排出部(34)とガス入口(35)及びガス出口(36)を有する、電気化学セル(1)におけるアルカリ金属ハロゲン化物水溶液の電解方法であって、
前記電解液がポンプを用いて前記ギャップ(32)内で上端から下向きに流れ、前記ギャップ(32)が前記電解液で満たされ、
ガスが、前記ガス空間(37)の下部に備えられたガス入口(35)から、前記ガス空間(37)の上部に備えられた前記ガス出口(36)へと、ガス空間(37)内を上向きに流れ、
ガス拡散電極(31)を介してギャップ32に入るガスが前記電解液供給部(33)の上部に備えられた補償開口(38)から出る、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - フローガイド構造(51;52;53;54)が前記ギャップに配置されることを特徴とする、請求項5記載の方法。
