本発明の輝度インキ組成物は、原紙と、上記原紙の一方の面を被覆する第1の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムと、上記原紙の他面を被覆し、上記第1の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムよりも低い融点を有し、加熱処理によって発泡して断熱層を形成する第2の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムとを有する断熱性発泡紙製容器材料の上記第2の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルム表面にグラビア印刷による印刷層を形成するための輝度インキ組成物であり、輝度材料、二酸化珪素、バインダー樹脂、溶剤、および必要に応じて着色剤を含むことを特徴とする。なお、以降の記載では、上記第1の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムを「高Mp樹脂フィルム」、上記第2の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムを「低Mp樹脂フィルム」とそれぞれ略記する。
(1)酸化エチレン、酸化プロピレン、テトラヒドロフランなどの重合体又は共重合体などのポリエーテルポリオール類;
(2)エチレングリコール、1,2−プロパンジオール、1,3−プロパンジオール、1,3−ブタンジオール、1,4−ブタンジオール、ネオペンチルグリコール、ペンタジオール、メチルペンタジオール、ヘキサジオール、オクタンジオール、ノナンジオール、メチルノナンジオール、ジエチレングリコール、トリエチレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコールなどの飽和および不飽和の低分子グリコール類と、n−ブチルグリシジルエーテル、2−エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル等のアルキルグリシジルエーテル類、バーサティック酸グリシジルエステル等のモノカルボン酸グリシジルエステルと、アジピン酸、フタル酸、イソフタル酸、テレフタル酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸、こはく酸、しゅう酸、マロン酸、グルタル酸、ピメリン酸、アゼライン酸、セバシン酸、ダイマー酸などの二塩基酸もしくはこれらの無水物とを脱水縮合せしめて得られるポリエステルポリオール類;
(3)その他ポリカーボネートジオール類、ポリブタジエングリコール類、ビスフェノールA酸化エチレン又は酸化プロピレンを付加して得られるグリコール類;
(4)ダイマージオール類。これらの各種ポリオールは、単独で用いても、2種以上を併用しても良い。
本発明による断熱性発泡紙製容器材料は、断熱性発泡紙製容器を製造するための材料であり、先に説明した本発明による輝度インキ組成物を使用して構成されることを特徴とする。より詳細には、本発明の断熱性発泡紙製容器材料(以下、「紙製容器材料」と略記する)は、図1に示すように、原紙10と、上記原紙10の一方の面を被覆する第1の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルム20と、上記原紙の他面を被覆し、上記第1の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムよりも低い融点を有し、加熱処理によって発泡して断熱層を形成する第2の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルム30と、上記フィルム30の表面の少なくとも一部に設けられた印刷層40とを含み、上記印刷層40が、本発明によるインキ組成物から形成される少なくとも1つの印刷パターン42を含むことを特徴とする。
本発明による断熱性発泡紙製容器は、容器胴体部材と底板部材とから構成され、容器胴体部材が本発明による紙製容器材料から形成されることを特徴とする。より具体的には、本発明の断熱性発泡紙製容器は、図5に示すように、本発明の紙製容器材料から形成される容器胴体50を有し、上記紙製容器材料における高Mp樹脂フィルムが容器の内壁面50aを形成し、上記低Mp樹脂フィルム上の印刷層が容器の外壁面50bを形成するように底板60と組み合わせて容器を成形し、上記容器を加熱処理することによって上記低Mp樹脂フィルムを発泡させることによって得られる。
撹拌機、温度計、還流冷却器および窒素ガス導入管を備えた四ツ口フラスコに、数平均分子量2,000のポリプロピレングリコール313部とイソホロンジイソシアネート63部および酢酸エチル60部を仕込み、窒素気流下に90℃で6時間反応させることによってプレポリマーを得た。次いで、このプレポリマーを、イソホロンジアミン21部、酢酸エチル360部、およびイソプロピルアルコール180部の混合物に滴下し、鎖長延長することによって、ポリウレタン樹脂ワニス(PUワニス)を得た。このポリウレタン樹脂ワニス(PUワニス)は、固形分40%、25℃における粘度200mPaS、重量平均分子量9,000であった。分子量の測定はUV検出器、屈折率計を備えた(Shodex DS−4、昭和電工社製)を使用した。
塩化ビニル−酢酸ビニル共重合体(ソルバインTA5R 日信化学(株)製)25部を、酢酸エチル75部に混合溶解させて、試験用の塩化ビニル−酢酸ビニル共重合体ワニス(PVC−PVAcワニス)を得た。
1.輝度インキの調製
調製例1で得たポリウレタン樹脂ワニス45部、調製例2で得た塩化ビニル−酢酸ビニル共重合体ワニス(PVC−PVAcワニス)8部、ノンリーフィングアルミペースト(東洋アルミニウム(株)製 アルペースト1100TA 固形分 65% 粒子径12μm)15部、および未処理シリカ(富士シリシア(株)製 サイリシア450 粒子径5.2μm)2.5部、メチルシクロヘキサン:イソプロピルアルコール:酢酸エチル=40:40:20(重量比)からなる混合溶剤29.5部を配合した後、ディスパーで20分にわたって攪拌することによって輝度インキを得た。
調製例1で得たポリウレタン樹脂ワニス12部、および調製例2で得た塩化ビニル−酢酸ビニル共重合体ワニス(PVC−PVAcワニス)19.2部、酸化チタン(チタニックスJR800(テイカ(株)製)40部、およびメチルシクロヘキサン:イソプロピルアルコール:酢酸エチル=40:40:20(重量比)からなる混合溶剤28.8部を配合した後、サンドミルで分散混練することによって、下地用の白インキを得た。
予め原紙の一方の面に高融点ポリエチレンフィルム(融点133℃)がラミネートされ、原紙の他方の面に低融点ポリエチレンフィルム(融点106℃)がラミネートされた紙製容器材料の上記低融点フィルム上に、先に調製した白インキおよび輝度インキをそれぞれ使用して、グラビア校正機により、図3に示したような印刷層の構成を有する白インキ/輝度インキの重ね刷り印刷層を形成した。
最初に、上述のように印刷層を形成した紙製容器材料について、印刷層の接着性、耐熱性、および耐摩擦性について下記評価方法によって評価した。結果を表1に示す。
紙製容器材料の印刷面にセロテープ(登録商標)を貼り付け、指で5回圧着した後、テープを剥離した。テープを貼り付けた面積と、インキ皮膜が原紙(ラミネート層上)から剥離した面積との比較から、原紙に対する接着性を評価した。
A:インキ皮膜が全く剥離しなかった。
B:インキ皮膜が原紙もしくは白インキ組成物から剥離した面積がテープ接着面積の20〜50%。
C:インキ皮膜が原紙もしくは白インキ組成物から剥離した面積がテープ接着面積の50%を超える。
印刷物と同じ大きさに切ったアルミニウム箔と印刷面とを重ね合わせ、ヒートシール試験機を用いて2kg/cm2の圧力で1秒間アルミニウム箔を押圧し、輝度インキがアルミニウム箔に転移する最低温度から耐熱性を評価した。
A:最低温度が160℃以上
B:最低温度が140℃以上、160℃未満。
C:最低温度が140℃未満。
学振型耐摩擦試験機を用いて、輝度インキの印刷面上を2.5N/cm2の荷重をかけて上質紙で擦り、印刷面が全体の20%以上取られたときの回数で評価した。
A:100回以上
B:50回以上100回未満
C:50回未満
低融点フィルム発泡後の印刷表面について、白インキ印刷部と輝度インキ印刷部との段差を指触し、輝度インキ印刷部の凹み度合いを評価する。
A:白インキ印刷部との段差をほとんど感じない。
B:白インキ印刷部との段差をわずかに感じる。
C:白インキ印刷部との段差を明らかに感じる。
低融点フィルム発泡後の輝度インキ印刷面の外観状態を目視にて観察し、インキ割れ(クラック)の発生の程度を印刷面全体に占めるクラック部分の面積割合から評価した。
A:インキ割れの発生なし
B:インキ割れの全面積が印刷面の50%で発生
C:インキ割れの全面積が印刷面の80%以上で発生
低融点フィルム発泡後の輝度インキ印刷物0.2m2を三角フラスコ500ml内に仕込み、密栓し官能臭気サンプルを作製した。日光暴露下で10日間放置後、フラスコ内の臭気を官能評価した。評価結果を表1に示す。
A:フラスコ内の臭気を官能しない。
B:フラスコ内の臭気をわずかに官能する。
C:フラスコ内の臭気を強く官能する。
表1〜3に示すように各成分を配合し、実施例1と同様の攪拌方法および調製手順に従って輝度インキを調製した。次に、各々の輝度インキを使用し、実施例1と同様の方法に従って、紙製容器材料の低融点フィルム上に印刷層を形成した。なお、下地層の形成は、実施例1で使用した白インキと同じものを使用して実施した。
リーフィングアルミニウムペースト:アルトップ18TH(旭化成(株)製、固形分80%、粒子径7μm)
ノンリーフィングアルミペースト(東洋アルミニウム(株)製、アルペースト1100TA、固形分65%、粒子径12μm)
アルミニウムフレーク:メタシーンKM100(東洋アルミニウム(株)製、粒子径12μm)
パール顔料:イリオジン120BS(メルクジャパン(株)製、粒子径5〜25μm)
処理シリカ:サイロホービック200(富士シリシア(株)、粒子径3.9μm)
未処理シリカ(富士シリシア(株)製、サイリシア450、粒子径5.2μm)
Claims (8)
- 原紙と、前記原紙の一方の面を被覆する第1の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムと、前記原紙の他面を被覆し、前記第1の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムよりも低い融点を有し、加熱処理によって発泡して断熱層を形成する第2の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムとを有する断熱性発泡紙製容器材料の前記第2の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルム表面に印刷層を形成するための輝度インキ組成物であって、
前記輝度インキ組成物は、輝度材料、二酸化珪素、バインダー樹脂および溶剤を含み、前記二酸化珪素が2〜20μmの粒子径を有し、かつ前記二酸化珪素の含有量が前記輝度インキ組成物の全重量を基準として1〜3.5重量%である、輝度インキ組成物。 - 前記輝度材料がアルミニウム材料、パール顔料、ガラス材料から選ばれる1種又は2種以上の材料である、請求項1に記載の輝度インキ組成物。
- 前記輝度材料の固形含有量が、前記輝度インキ組成物の全重量を基準として、2〜30重量%である、請求項1又は2に記載の輝度インキ組成物。
- 前記アルミニウム材料が、5〜40μmの粒子径を有し、かつ脂肪酸によって表面処理されたノンリーフィングタイプのアルミニウムペーストである、請求項2又は3に記載の輝度インキ組成物。
- 前記バインダー樹脂が、ポリウレタン樹脂とビニル系重合物とを含有する成分であり、前記成分における前記ポリウレタン樹脂:前記ビニル系重合物の配合比が、固形分重量換算で、95:5〜5:95である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の輝度インキ組成物。
- さらに着色剤を含有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の輝度インキ組成物。
- 原紙と、
前記原紙の一方の面を被覆する第1の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムと、
前記原紙の他面を被覆し、前記第1の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムよりも低い融点を有し、加熱処理によって発泡して断熱層を形成する第2の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムと、
前記第2の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルム表面の少なくとも一部に設けられた印刷層とを含み、
前記印刷層が、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の輝度インキ組成物からなる少なくとも1つの印刷パターンを含む、断熱性発泡紙製容器材料。 - 請求項7に記載の断熱性発泡紙製容器材料から形成される容器胴体部材を、前記第1の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムが内壁面を形成し、前記第2の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムが外壁面を形成するように底板部材と組み合わせて容器を成形し、前記容器を加熱処理することによって前記第2の熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルムを発泡させて得られる、断熱性発泡紙製容器。
