Claims (8)
- ビデオデータと、メニュー画面を提供するための第1及び第2グラフィックデータを含むグラフィックデータを記録した保存媒体であって、
前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータは、前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータを区別するためのフィールドを備える同一の構造体を使用して具現され、
前記ビデオデータをデコーディングするビデオデコーダと、前記グラフィックデータをデコーディングするグラフィックデコーダと、デコーディングされた前記ビデオデータと前記グラフィックデータとをオーバレイするブレンダと、ユーザ入力を前記グラフィックデコーダに伝達するインターフェースを備える再生装置の前記グラフィックデコーダに、前記グラフィックデータのフィールドから前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータを区別され、前記第1グラフィックデータをデコーディングされて前記インターフェースから入力されるユーザの活性化要求に対する応答として画面上にメニュー画面の出力を実行させ、前記第2グラフィックデータをデコーディングされて指定の出力開始時間から出力完了時間まで前記画面上にメニュー画面の出力を実行させる前記グラフィックデータを記録した
ことを特徴とする保存媒体。 - 前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータは、グラフィックセグメント構造体を使用して具現され、前記グラフィックセグメント構造体は、前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータのタイプ値が各々定義されたセグメントタイプフィールドを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保存媒体。
- 前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータは、インタラクティブ・グラフィックセグメント構造体を使用して具現され、前記インタラクティブ・グラフィックセグメント構造体には両者を区別するためのタイプフィールドが追加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保存媒体。
- 前記タイプフィールド値が0ならば、前記第2グラフィックデータであることを表し、前記タイプフィールド値が1ならば、前記第1グラフィックデータであることを表すことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の保存媒体。
- ビデオデータ及びメニュー画面を提供するための第1及び第2グラフィックデータを含むグラフィックデータを記録した保存媒体を再生する再生装置において、
前記ビデオデータをデコーディングするビデオデコーダと、
前記グラフィックデータをデコーディングするグラフィックデコーダと、
デコーディングされた前記ビデオデータと前記グラフィックデータとをオーバレイするブレンダと、
ユーザ入力を前記グラフィックデコーダに伝達するインターフェースとを備え、
前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータは、前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータを区別するためのフィールドを備える同一の構造体を使用して具現され、
前記グラフィックデコーダは、前記グラフィックデータのフィールドから前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータを区別して、前記インターフェースから入力されるユーザの活性化要求に対する応答として画面上にメニュー画面を出力する前記第1グラフィックデータをデコーディングし、指定の出力開始時間から出力完了時間まで画面上にメニュー画面を出力する前記第2グラフィックデータをデコーディングする
ことを特徴とする再生装置。 - 前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータは、グラフィックセグメント構造体を使用して具現され、前記グラフィックセグメント構造体は、前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータのタイプ値が各々定義されたセグメントタイプフィールドを備えることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の再生装置。
- 前記第1及び第2グラフィックデータは、インタラクティブ・グラフィックセグメント構造体(interactive_graphic_segment structure)を使用して具現され、前記インタラクティブ・グラフィックセグメント構造体には、両者を区別するためのタイプフィールドが追加されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の再生装置。
- 前記タイプフィールド値が0ならば、前記第2グラフィックデータであることを表し、前記タイプフィールド値が1ならば、前記第1グラフィックデータであることを表すことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の再生装置。
