Description
まず、本発明のリチウム塩について説明する。本発明のリチウム塩は、上記一般式(1)に示される構造を有することを特徴とするものである。
以下、本発明のリチウム塩について、各構成ごとに説明する。
次に、本発明のリチウム塩の製造方法について説明する。本発明のリチウム塩の製造方法は、下記反応式(1)および(2)を行うことによりリチウム塩を得ることを特徴とするものである。
次に、本発明のリチウム塩の製造方法について、各反応ごとに説明する。
反応式(1)において、LiCpH2P+1はアルキルリチウムを示す。本発明により得られるリチウム塩のリチウム源となる化合物である。pは1〜4の整数を表し、いずれを用いても同様に目的物を得られるが、最も一般的なアルキルリチウムである、pが4であることが好ましい。すなわち、LiCpH2P+1がノルマルブチルリチウム(n−LiBu)であることが好ましい。
反応式(2)において、R2(OR1)nOLiは、反応式(1)で表される反応により得られるものである。また、MFx化合物は、上述した一般式(1)におけるM−Fxの部分を与える化合物である。Mについては、上述した「A.リチウム塩」に記載した内容と同様であるので、ここでの説明は省略する。MFx化合物とは、具体的には、BF3化合物、SiF4化合物、GeF4化合物、PF5化合物、AsF5化合物又はSbF5化合物をいう。
以下の反応式(i)および(ii)に沿って、リチウム塩を調製した。
平均重合度が7.2であるPEGMMEの代わりに、平均重合度が3であるPEGMMEを用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にしてリチウムイオン性液体を得た。得られたリチウムイオン性液体のIRスペクトル、1H−NMRスペクトルおよび13C−NMRスペクトルを測定したところ、目的物が合成されていることが示唆された。
平均重合度が7.2であるPEGMMEの代わりに、平均重合度が11.8であるPEGMMEを用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にしてリチウムイオン性液体を得た。得られたリチウムイオン性液体のIRスペクトル、1H−NMRスペクトルおよび13C−NMRスペクトルを測定したところ、目的物が合成されていることが示唆された。
(1)イオン伝導率測定
2枚のステンレス金属ブロッキング電極の間に、電解質を注入し、周波数応答アナライザ(FRA、商品名:ソーラートロン1260、ソーラートロン社製)を用い、0℃〜80℃で交流インピーダンスを測定することにより、電解質のイオン導電率を測定した。
ソーラートロン1260(ポテンショスタット/ガルバノスタット、ソーラートロン社製)および3電極セル(対極および参照極:リチウム箔、作用極:ステンレス(表面積0.01cm2))を用い、50℃で電解質のサイクリックボルタンメトリ測定(CV測定)を行った。
(コインセル型二次電池の作製)
まず、コインセル型二次電池の正極を作製した。結着材としてPVDF(poly(vinylidene fluoride))を用意し、1-pyrrolidinoneに溶解させ、均一なPVDF溶液を得た。次に、正極活物質としてLiNi0.8Co0.2O2(Li2O、NiOおよびCoOの混合物を720℃で24時間加熱して得られるもの)と、導電化剤としてアセチレンブラック(AB)とを用意し、これらをグラインドし、その後上記PVDF溶液にゆっくりと添加した。その後、この混合物を24時間激しく撹拌し、粘性の高いスラリーを得た。その後、このスラリーを、集電体として用意したアルミ基材に塗布し、乾燥することによって、正極を得た。なお、LiNi0.8Co0.2O2:PVDF:AB=80:10:10となるように調整した。
電池充放電装置(HJ−SM8システム、北斗電工社製)を用い、電流密度0.1mA/cm2で定電流測定を行い、コインセル型二次電池の充放電特性を評価した。
図6は、実施例1で得られたリチウムイオン性液体を用いたコインセル型二次電池の充放電特性を示すグラフである。なお、図6は2回目の充放電の際の充放電特性を示す(カットオフ電圧:2.5〜3.9V)。図6が示すように、実施例1で得られたリチウムイオン性液体を用いた場合、良好な充放電特性を有するリチウム二次電池を得ることができることが明らかになった。
