Description
しかしながら塩化ビニルや合成皮革などの通気性の低いシート材を重ねて裁断する場合、上の方に重ねられたシート材を真空吸引で充分に固定できず、シート材がめくれたり滑ったりして、正確に裁断できないことがある。
前記パーツは裁断線の内側に縫い代を備え、
前記裁断線の近傍でかつ前記パーツの縫い代、裁断線、または裁断線のやや外側の、裁断時にシート材を互いに固定できるエリアを、裁断ヘッドのナイフまたは目打ちとの摩擦熱により局部的に加熱することにより、前記シート材を相互に上下に溶着させて、上下のシート材を固定した状態で裁断し、
ここで前記局部的加熱は、裁断ヘッドのナイフまたはナイフ状の目打ちを、上下に重ねた複数のシート材に突き刺した状態で上下させること、あるいは裁断ヘッドのドリル状の目打ちを回転させて、上下に重ねた複数のシート材を掘り下げ、掘り下げたその位置でさらに目打ちを回転させることにより行うことを特徴とする。
前記局部的加熱は、裁断ヘッドのナイフまたは目打ちを用いて行う。例えばナイフを重ねたシート材に突き刺し、同じ位置で上下させると、ナイフとシート材との摩擦でシート材を互いに溶着できる。また例えばドリル状の目打ちで、重ねたシート材に孔をあけるように掘り込み、目打ちを回転させると、シート材を溶着できる。あるいは往復刃からなる目打ちの場合、裁断用のナイフと同様にシート材に突き刺し上下させると、溶着できる。
また好ましくは、前記局部的加熱を、裁断線もしくは裁断線から直角に外側へ5mm以内のエリアに対して、1パーツ当たり2〜10箇所で行う。
また好ましくは、前記局部的加熱を、裁断線の内側の縫い代に対して、1パーツ当たり2〜10箇所で行う。
ここに1パーツ当たりの局部的加熱の箇所は、好ましくは3〜6個所程度である。
なお前記シート材を空気不透過性のシート材、例えば塩化ビニルや合皮(合成皮革)などのシート材、あるいはその他の生地に空気不透過性の加工を施したものなどとすると、本発明は特に有効である。なお空気不透過性は、空気を全く通さないものに限らず、通気性が低いものを含む意味で用いる。
シート材を上下で相互に溶着するには、裁断装置の裁断ヘッドに装備されているナイフや目打ちを用いると、通常の裁断ヘッドで簡単に溶着を行える。
溶着は1パーツ当たり2〜10個所で、好ましくは3〜6個所に溶着する。溶着個所は、裁断線上やそのやや外側、あるいは裁断線の内側でパーツの縫い代とする。やや外側とは例えば裁断線に直角に外側に5mm以内のエリアとする。また裁断線の外側を直ぐ他のパーツに用いる場合は、溶着個所を裁断線上やその内側の縫い代とすることが好ましい。
対象とするシート材は空気不透過性のものが有効で、このようなシート材は真空吸引で固定するのが難しく、シート材とシート材との間の空気のために滑りやすい。一方、空気不透過性のシート材は塩化ビニ−ルや合皮、ナイロン、ポリエステルなどのように、熱で溶融しやすく、溶着が容易なものが多い。このため、この発明では空気不透過性の固定が困難なシート材でも上下に重ねて正確に裁断できる。

溶着の場合、裁断線の近傍、即ち裁断線の内側の縫い代や裁断線上、あるいは裁断線のやや外側で、上下に積み重ねたシート材を互いに溶着させる。溶着には裁断用のヘッドに備え付けのナイフや目打ちを用いる。例えば溶着箇所で、積み重ねたシート材の多くを貫通する位置までナイフを突き刺し、同じ位置で高速で上下すると、摩擦熱によりシート材は上下で相互に溶着する。ドリル状の目打ちの場合、目打ちを回転させて積み重ねたシート材の多くを貫通するように掘り下げ、その位置で回転させて摩擦熱溶着させる。ここで「多く」とは、例えば積み重ねたシート材の厚さの1/2〜3/4程度を意味する。またナイフ状の目打ちの場合、裁断用のナイフと同様に、積み重ねたシート材に突き刺した状態で高速で上下させ、シート材を互いに溶着させると良い(ステップ3)。そして溶着後に裁断を実行する(ステップ4)。ただし1パーツの全周分数カ所を先に溶着する必要はなく、1個所溶着して1ライン分カットし、次のラインに対して例えば1個所溶着して、このラインを裁断するようにしてもよい。切り残しを設ける場合、裁断パターンを変更し、裁断線上の数カ所に切り残しを追加する(ステップ5)。そして裁断を実行し(ステップ6)、最後に切り残しをカットする(ステップ7)。また溶着と切り残しは併用可能で、その場合、アルゴリズム上は溶着と切り残しの双方が選択されたものとする。
ナイフ22を上下させ、裁断線の外側の数カ所、例えば4個所に、溶着個所26を設ける。そしてナイフ22を積み重ねたシート材に突き刺して、その位置で上下させると、上下のシート材が互いに溶着して、シート材を固定できる。このため空気不透過性のシート材で、吸引ポンプによる吸引だけでは上下のシート材を固定できない場合でも、正確に裁断できる。溶着個所26はパーツの外側であり、裁断線からの距離も5mm程度と極く僅かなので、他のパーツに疵を付けることがない。溶着は例えば裁断前に行うものとするが、溶着−裁断−溶着−裁断などのように、各区間(裁断の1ライン)毎に溶着と裁断とを交互に実行してもよい。28はパーツの内部のパターンで、縫い代の内側の領域で、縫製後に繊維製品の表面に表れる部分である。
実施例では、裁断線上やその外側、あるいは縫い代などの縫製後に表れない位置を利用して、溶着や切り残しにより裁断時にシート材を互いに固定し、滑りやすいシート材を積み重ねても正確に裁断できる。しかも溶着や切り残しはヘッドに備え付けの部材で行え、新たな部材を追加する必要がない。
Claims (3)
- 複数の空気不透過性のシート材を上下に重ねて真空吸引しながら固定し、所定の裁断線に沿ってパーツへと裁断するに際して、
前記パーツは裁断線の内側に縫い代を備え、
前記裁断線の近傍でかつ前記パーツの縫い代、裁断線、または裁断線のやや外側の、裁断時にシート材を互いに固定できるエリアを、裁断ヘッドのナイフまたは目打ちとの摩擦熱により局部的に加熱することにより、前記シート材を相互に上下に溶着させて、上下のシート材を固定した状態で裁断し、
ここで前記局部的加熱は、裁断ヘッドのナイフまたはナイフ状の目打ちを、上下に重ねた複数のシート材に突き刺した状態で上下させること、あるいは裁断ヘッドのドリル状の目打ちを回転させて、上下に重ねた複数のシート材を掘り下げ、掘り下げたその位置でさらに目打ちを回転させることにより行うことを特徴とする、シート材の裁断方法。 - 前記局部的加熱を、裁断線もしくは裁断線から直角に外側へ5mm以内のエリアに対して、1パーツ当たり2〜10箇所で行うことを特徴とする、請求項1のシート材の裁断方法。
- 前記局部的加熱を、裁断線の内側の縫い代に対して、1パーツ当たり2〜10箇所で行うことを特徴とする、請求項1のシート材の裁断方法。
