Description
Claims (12)
- データ・バスを介して外部デバイスを制御する装置を操作する方法であって、
前記装置を介して前記外部デバイスからの切断の開始を検出するステップと、
前記外部デバイスからの前記切断の前記開始が検出された後に、前記装置を介して前記外部デバイスが再生モードにあるかどうか判定するステップと、
前記外部デバイスが前記再生モードにあると判定された場合に、前記データ・バスを介して前記装置から前記外部デバイスに一時停止コマンド信号を自動的に供給するステップと、
前記一時停止コマンド信号を供給した後に、前記外部デバイスから前記装置を切断するステップとを含む、前記方法。 - 前記装置を介して前記装置への電力の中断を検出するステップと、
前記装置を介して前記装置への前記電力の回復を検出するステップと、
前記電力の前記回復に応答して、前記装置を介して前記外部デバイスが前記装置の初期入力として選択されているか判定するステップと、
前記外部デバイスが前記初期入力として選択されている場合に、前記データ・バスを介して前記装置から前記外部デバイスに再生コマンド信号を自動的に供給するステップとを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記データ・バスはIEEE−1394バスを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記一時停止コマンド信号および前記再生コマンド信号はAV/Cプロトコル信号である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記装置を前記外部デバイスに接続するステップと、
前記外部デバイスに接続した後に、前記装置を介して前記外部デバイスが一時停止モードにあるかどうか判定するステップと、
前記外部デバイスが前記一時停止モードにある場合に、前記データ・バスを介して前記装置から前記外部デバイスに再生コマンド信号を自動的に供給するステップとを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記外部デバイスはディジタル記録/再生デバイスである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- データ・バスを介して装置を外部デバイスに接続するための入出力手段と、
前記外部デバイスからの切断の開始を検出するための処理手段とを備える装置であって、
前記入出力手段は、前記処理手段により前記外部デバイスからの前記切断の前記開始が検出された後に、前記外部デバイスが再生モードにあると前記装置が判定した場合に、前記データ・バスを介して、前記外部デバイスに一時停止コマンド信号を自動的に出力する前記装置。 - 前記処理手段は、前記装置への電力の中断および回復に応答して、前記外部デバイスが前記装置の初期入力として選択されているか判定し、
前記入出力手段は、前記外部デバイスが前記装置の前記初期入力として選択されている場合に、前記装置への前記電力の前記回復の後に、前記データ・バスを介して前記外部デバイスに前記再生コマンド信号を自動的に出力する、請求項7に記載の装置。 - 前記データ・バスはIEEE−1394バスを含む、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記一時停止コマンド信号および前記再生コマンド信号はAV/Cプロトコル信号である、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記装置は、前記データ・バスを介して前記外部デバイスに接続し、前記入出力手段は、前記装置に接続した後に、前記外部デバイスが一時停止モードにあると前記装置が判定した場合に、前記データ・バスを介して前記外部デバイスに再生コマンド信号を自動的に出力する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記外部デバイスはディジタル記録/再生デバイスである、請求項7に記載の装置。
