Claims (7)
- 内燃機関(12)の排気ガス管路に配置されており、内燃機関の酸素過剰駆動時に酸素および窒素酸化物を排気ガス中から収容して吸蔵し、かつ酸素欠乏駆動時に酸素および窒素を排気ガス中へ放出する触媒(30)を再生するために、
触媒(30)の前方で第1の酸素欠乏状態を形成することにより再生をトリガし、再生の期間が経過するにつれて当該の酸素欠乏状態を緩和する
触媒再生方法において、
内燃機関(12)の駆動特性量から再生中に計算された触媒(30)の充填率に依存して酸素欠乏状態の緩和を行い、当該の充填率を計算する際に酸素充填率および窒素酸化物充填率の双方を形成し、
再生開始時には後の再生過程よりも大きな酸素欠乏状態を形成し、再生開始時の大きな酸素欠乏状態を触媒吸蔵容積の酸素充填率が予め定められた閾値を下回るまで維持する
ことを特徴とする触媒再生方法。 - 酸素欠乏状態を酸素吸蔵容積の充填率に依存して緩和する、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 酸素欠乏状態を窒素酸化物吸蔵容積の充填率に依存して緩和する、請求項1または2記載のシステム。
- 内燃機関(12)の駆動特性量から充填率を計算する際に排気ガス流量を考慮する、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 内燃機関(12)の駆動特性量から充填率を計算する際に排気ガス温度および/または触媒温度を考慮する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 内燃機関(12)の排気ガス管路に配置されており、内燃機関の酸素過剰駆動時に酸素および窒素酸化物を排気ガス中から収容して吸蔵し、酸素欠乏駆動時に酸素および窒素を排気ガス中へ放出する触媒(30)を再生するために、
触媒(30)の前方で第1の酸素欠乏状態を形成することにより再生をトリガし、再生の期間が経過するにつれて当該の酸素欠乏状態を緩和する、
触媒再生用の制御装置(20)において、
内燃機関(12)の駆動特性量から再生中に計算された触媒(30)の充填率に依存して酸素欠乏状態の緩和を行い、当該の充填率を計算する際に酸素充填率および窒素酸化物充填率の双方を形成し、
再生開始時には後の再生過程よりも大きな酸素欠乏状態を形成し、再生開始時の大きな酸素欠乏状態を触媒吸蔵容積の酸素充填率が予め定められた閾値を下回るまで維持する
ことを特徴とする触媒再生用の制御装置。 - 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の触媒再生方法を実行する制御手段(20)を備えている、請求項6記載の制御装置。
