LCD容器内には、LCDをブースターポンプ6に供給するカーゴポンプ5が設けられている。ブースターポンプ6は、LCDをSTL7を介してプラットフォームに供給する。カーゴポンプ5及びブースターポンプ6の下流には、それぞれCO2をLCD容器に戻すバックフローライン8及びバックフローライン9が設けられている。また、船には、船からでるLCDを加熱するヒーター10が備えられている。プラットフォーム4に到達する導管は、周囲環境による加熱によりLCDの膨張を吸収する膨張タンク11を備えている。膨張タンク11の後に、導管がヒーター12を介して注入ポンプ13に至る。注入ポンプ13は、LCDをダウンホール注入する。注入ポンプ13の下流の導管は、過剰のCO2をヒーター12の上流の位置に戻すバックフローライン14を備えている。始動段階での注入ポンプ13の過熱を避けるために、バックフローライン14自体が、熱交換器15を備えている。

- 液体二酸化炭素を、水上輸送船(以下、「船」と称する)上の加圧且つ冷蔵された液化ガスの容器から、表面プラットフォームに接続された沖合注入坑井に移送する方法であって、前記容器及び前記プラットフォームを、少なくとも一部が前記船と前記プラットフォームとの間の水中に浸漬した可撓性部を有する導管、第一ポンプ、第二ポンプ、ヒーター、膨張タンク及び第三ポンプと接続することと;前記第一ポンプを用い、液体二酸化炭素を前記容器から、前記導管に沿って前記第二ポンプに移送することと;前記第二ポンプを用いて前記液体二酸化炭素を前記導管に沿って、前記ヒーターを通過して前記第三ポンプに移送することと;前記ヒーターを用いて、前記液体二酸化炭素を加熱してから、前記第三ポンプに入れることと;前記第三ポンプを用いて前記液体二酸化炭素を前記注入坑井の下に移送することと;前記膨張タンクを用いて、前記第三ポンプの上流で、前記可撓性部の上流端の下流に位置する前記導管における圧力を、前記第三ポンプが前記液体二酸化炭素を前記注入坑井の下に移送する前に調整することと;第四ポンプ又は加圧ガスを用いて、前記膨張タンクに集めた液体二酸化炭素を、前記導管に、前記第三ポンプが前記液体二酸化炭素を前記注入坑井の下に移送している最中に移送することと、を含む方法。
- 前記第一ポンプは前記容器内に配置された排出ポンプであり、前記第二ポンプが前記容器の外に配置されたブースターポンプである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記船が、ヒーターを、前記液体二酸化炭素が水に浸漬した前記導管の部分に入る前に前記液体二酸化炭素の少なくとも一部分を加熱するように配置して備えている、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒーターが、前記排出及びブースターポンプの下流に配置されている、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記第一及び/又は第二ポンプからの前記二酸化炭素の一部分を、取り出し、蒸発させ、前記容器に戻して前記容器内の圧力を維持するようにした、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記容器における前記液化二酸化炭素を、三重点の圧力より高い圧力に維持する、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ポンプとヒーターが、前記CO2が前記液相であるような温度及び圧力で前記可撓性導管の前記浸漬部に液化二酸化炭素が導入されるように配置されている、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ポンプ及びヒーターが、−50℃〜+0℃の温度範囲で前記可撓性導管の浸漬部に液化二酸化炭素が導入されるように配置されている、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒーターを用いて、前記液体二酸化炭素を加熱してから、前記第三ポンプに入れることが、前記ヒーターを用いて、前記液体二酸化炭素を加熱してから、前記第三ポンプおよび前記水に浸漬された可撓性部の部分に入れることである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 液体二酸化炭素を、水上輸送船(以下、「船」と称する)上の加圧且つ冷蔵された液化ガスの容器から、表面プラットフォームに接続された沖合注入坑井に移送する装置であって、
前記装置が、前記容器及び前記プラットフォームを接続する導管であって、少なくとも一部が前記船と前記プラットフォームとの間の水中に浸漬した可撓性部を有する導管;第一ポンプ;第二ポンプ;ヒーター;膨張タンク及び第三ポンプを含み;
前記第一ポンプが、液体二酸化炭素を前記容器から、前記導管に沿って前記第二ポンプに移送するように配置されており;前記第二ポンプが、前記液体二酸化炭素を前記導管に沿って、前記ヒーターを通過して前記第三ポンプに移送するように配置されており;前記ヒーターが、前記液体二酸化炭素を加熱してから、前記第三ポンプに入れるように配置されており;前記第三ポンプが、前記液体二酸化炭素を前記注入坑井の下に移送するように配置されており;前記膨張タンクが、前記第三ポンプの上流で、前記可撓性部の上流端の下流に位置する前記導管における圧力を、前記第三ポンプが前記液体二酸化炭素を前記注入坑井の下に移送する前に調整するように配置されており;前記装置が、第四ポンプ又は加圧ガスを用いて、前記膨張タンクに集めた液体二酸化炭素を、前記導管に、前記第三ポンプが前記液体二酸化炭素を前記注入坑井の下に移送している最中に移送するように配置されている、装置。 - 前記第一ポンプは前記容器内に配置された排出ポンプであり、前記第二ポンプが前記容器の外に配置されたブースターポンプである、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記船が、ヒーターを、前記液体二酸化炭素が水に浸漬した前記導管の部分に入る前に前記液体二酸化炭素の少なくとも一部分を加熱するように配置して備えている、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒーターが、前記排出及びブースターポンプの下流に配置されている、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記ポンプとヒーターが、前記CO 2 が前記液相であるような温度及び圧力で前記可撓性導管の前記浸漬部に液化二酸化炭素が導入されるように配置されている、前記請求項10〜13のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記ポンプ及びヒーターが、−50℃〜+0℃の温度範囲で前記可撓性導管の浸漬部に液化二酸化炭素が導入されるように配置されている、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒーターが、前記液体二酸化炭素を加熱してから、前記第三ポンプおよび前記水に浸漬された可撓性部の部分に入れるように配置されている、請求項10に記載の装置。
