Claims (5)
- 電解質をアノード電極とカソード電極とで挟んで構成される電解質・電極接合体とセパレータとが積層される燃料電池を設け、複数の前記燃料電池が積層されるとともに、積層方向両端にエンドプレートが配設される燃料電池スタックと、
酸化剤ガスを前記燃料電池スタックに供給する前に加熱する熱交換器と、
燃料を改質して燃料ガスを生成する改質器と、
前記燃料電池スタック、前記熱交換器及び前記改質器を収容する筐体と、
を備え、
一方のエンドプレート側には、前記熱交換器で加熱された前記酸化剤ガス、又は前記電解質・電極接合体で発電反応に使用されて排出された前記燃料ガス及び前記酸化剤ガスである排ガスが一旦充填されるチャンバ部が、前記一方のエンドプレートと該一方のエンドプレートに装着される壁板との間に形成され、
前記チャンバ部には、前記熱交換器及び前記改質器が前記壁板に直接結合されて配置されることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、前記チャンバ部には、該チャンバ部に一旦充填された前記酸化剤ガスを前記燃料電池スタックに供給するための開口部が設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。
- 請求項1記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、前記チャンバ部には、前記チャンバ部に直接開口し、該チャンバ部に一旦充填された前記排ガスを前記熱交換器に供給するための開口部が設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、前記熱交換器及び前記改質器は、前記燃料電池スタックの一方の側に配置されることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。
- 請求項4記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、前記熱交換器の内側に前記改質器が配置されるとともに、
前記燃料電池スタックの中心軸に対して前記熱交換器及び前記改質器を軸対称に配置することを特徴とする燃料電池システム。
