図1は、本発明の実施の形態1における保温槽の一つである電気湯沸かし器の断面図を示すものである。
本実施の形態における電気湯沸かし器について、保温時の消費電力を計測した。計測は25℃室内にて行い、保温安定時の積算電力より、1時間あたりの電力量を求め、得られた保温時消費電力値を1とした。重なり部15の幅は10mmとした。
本実施の形態における電気湯沸かし器について、保温時の消費電力を計測した。計測は実施例1と同様におこない、重なり部15の幅は30mmとした。結果、保温時消費電力は実施例1と比較して0.9倍であった。
真空断熱材4の継ぎ目箇所に、重なり部15を設けない従来の電気湯沸かし器の保温時の消費電力を計測した。計測は実施例1と同様に行った。結果、保温時消費電力は実施例1と比較して1.2倍であった。
図4は本発明による実施の形態2の電気湯沸かし器に用いる真空断熱材4の平面図である。図4において、真空断熱材4の芯材5は、コーナー部に切り欠き19を有している。
図6は本発明による実施の形態3の保温槽の一つである電気湯沸かし器に適用するため、筒加工を行った真空断熱材4の概略断面図である。
図7は本発明による実施の形態4の保温槽の一つである電気湯沸かし器に適用するため、筒加工を行った真空断熱材4の概略断面図である。

Claims (3)
- 少なくとも外容器と、外容器の内部に収納された有底筒形状の内容器と、外容器の上部を被覆する蓋体と、内容器側面を取り囲む真空断熱材とを有した保温槽であって、前記真空断熱材は少なくとも芯材と外袋から構成され内部を減圧せしめて得られ、平板形状をなすものを曲げ加工により筒形状とし、係合する芯材端部同士の少なくとも一部が重なるよう配設し、前記真空断熱材の芯材の重なり部の近傍に吸着剤を、前記吸着剤により前記真空断熱材の厚みが増して前記吸着剤を設置した部分が出っ張りとなるように設置して、前記真空断熱材を前記内容器側面に巻きつけて設置する際に前記芯材端部が前記吸着剤を設置した出っ張り部に当たり、ストッパー効果が得られると共に、前記真空断熱材を設置する際に、前記吸着剤の出っ張り部が前記芯材端部の接合部の目印となって、前記真空断熱材の円筒形状化の作業性が向上するようにした保温槽。
- 真空断熱材の芯材端部の重なり部において、少なくとも一方の芯材端部は切り欠きを有する請求項1に記載の保温槽。
- 請求項1または2に記載の保温槽を備えた電気湯沸かし器。
