Description
図1は本発明方法を実施する装置を概略的に示すもので、図中1は水性顔料インク(以下これを単にインクという)2を入れるインク容器で、この中に超音波送信器3と超音波受信器4とを所定の距離、例えば100mm離隔して対向配置してある。
A=0.05×1309=65.45usec
となる。同様にインク濃度が異なるインク毎に上記パルス数が異なり、この各パルス数からそれぞれのインク濃度における伝播時間が計算される。
(イ)出力電圧基準を5Vに設定する。
(ロ)出力電圧変化量はパルス1個だけカウントが異なったときの電圧変化を0.102Vとする。
(ハ)ここでインク濃度を10%増加する方に変えて110%としたときに出力電圧が1V変化して6Vとなったとすると、カウント換算では、
1.00V/0.102V=10カウント
10カウント×0.05usec=0.5usec
で、インク濃度が100%のときの伝播時間である65.45usecに対して110%のインク濃度の伝播時間は0.5usec減少して64.95usecとなる。逆にインク濃度が10%減少して90%にしたときには、比例的に4Vとなり、時間換算でも0.5usec増加して65.45usec→65.95usecとなる。
Claims (1)
- インク濃度が異なる複数の水性顔料インクのそれぞれの所定距離間での超音波の伝播速度を測定し、この測定結果をそれぞれの超音波伝播時間と、この各超音波伝播時間から換算して得られる電圧とで、上記各水性顔料インクの照合値として表示しておき、
インク濃度が未知の水性顔料インクの超音波の伝播速度を上記照合値の測定と同一条件で測定し、
この測定値を上記照合値の超音波伝播時間あるいは電圧のいずれかと照合することによりインク濃度を判定するようにしたことを特徴とするインク濃度の測定方法。
