Description
この送り加硫による弾性クローラの製造方法は、帯長手方向において加熱ゾーンと冷却ゾーンとに区画された金型によって、帯長手方向の一端部を未加硫または半加硫のままにして帯状ゴム様体を加硫成形する。そのあと、この帯状ゴム様体の一端部に形成された未加硫または半加硫状態の接合面を、それと同じ帯状ゴム様体または他の帯状ゴム様体の未加硫または半加硫となっている帯長手方向の他端部に接合させて加硫接着する。これによって、単一または複数の前記帯状ゴム様体の一端部と他端部同士を互いに一体化するようにして製品を構成する方法である(例えば、特許文献1参照)。また、送り加硫と呼ばれていないが、長尺部分の1次加硫、ラップジョイント部分のジョイント2次加硫により周形状をなすゴムクローラを完成させる製造方法もある。
本発明は、上記問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、強固に加硫接着することができる弾性履帯の製造方法及びこれを用いた加硫成形装置を提供することを目的とする。

図1は、本発明の第一実施形態にかかる弾性履帯の製造方法を備えた加硫成形装置1を示し、図2は、加硫成形装置1を用いて製造される製品としての弾性履帯2を示している。なお、図1の左右方向を前後方向とし、これ以降に示す図面は、全てこの図1と同様とする。
図2に示すように、この弾性履帯2は、コンバインやハーベスタなどのクローラ走行装置に用いられる弾性クローラであり、弾性ゴム材を無端状にしてなるクローラ本体3と、クローラ本体3に埋設されたスチールコードなどの抗張体4と、クローラ本体3の内周側(図の下側)に突出して設けられる駆動突起5と、クローラ本体3の外周側(図の上側)に突出して設けられるラグ6とを有している。
駆動突起5は、クローラ走行装置の転動輪(図示せず)からの駆動力を弾性クローラ2に伝達するためのものであり、クローラ本体3の幅方向中央、かつ、周方向に所定の間隔で複数配置されている。そして、ラグ6は、断面ほぼ台形状で、かつ、クローラ本体3の幅方向に伸びるほぼ直線上に形成されており、駆動突起5と同ピッチで複数配置されている。なお、図示しないが、弾性クローラ2は、クローラ本体に設けられた芯金にスプロケットが係合することで弾性クローラを回転方向に駆動する芯金有りタイプのものであってもよい。
一対の加熱金型10は、弾性クローラ2のラグ6側を成形する上型10aと、弾性クローラ2の駆動突起5側を成形する下型10bとを有しており、上型10a及び下型10bの外面側には、加熱部13が設けられている。加熱部13には、加熱装置(図示せず)が接続されており、加熱装置からの熱によって、当該加熱部13が加熱されるようになっている。また、図示しないが上下型10a、10bと加熱部13との間にモールド引き出しの為の鉄板を入れてもよい。
また、加熱金型10の他端部には上記冷却金型11とほぼ同じ形状を呈しかつ冷却通路16が形成された冷却金型12が接続されており、最初に成形される帯状ゴム様体71の他端部(後方端部)が未加硫または半加硫とされることで、次に説明する第5工程で当該他端部が最後に無端状となるように加硫接着される。
次に、第3工程として、加硫成形された帯状ゴム様体71を、帯長手方向前方へ所定長さでずらすように送る。そして、他の帯状ゴム様体72を加硫成形によって構成するために、上記の第1工程と同様に準備を行う。
このように、第1〜第5の工程を経て、無端状の弾性クローラ2を得ることができる。
なお、3つ以上の帯状ゴム様体7xを加硫成形して1本の帯状ゴム様体7を構成する場合には、第5工程の前工程として、上記の第3,4工程を繰り返して行う工程を導入すればよい。また、1回の加硫成形で所定の長さの帯状ゴム様体7を構成し、無端状の弾性クローラ2を得る場合には、第3,4工程を省略するとよい。
本実施形態が第一実施形態と異なる点は、帯状ゴム様体7の外周側の接合面14と製品外面2Aとの境界線Bが、ラグ6の上面6aにかかるように設けられている点である。なお、帯状ゴム様体7の内周側の接合面14と製品外面2Aとの境界線Bは、弾性クローラ2の内周側に形成される駆動突起5の上面(突出する頂面)5aにかかるように設けられている。また、芯金がある場合には境界線Bが芯金(突起)間にくるようにしてもよい。
本発明の方法によれば、接合面14と製品外面2Aとの境界線Bが、熱の制御が困難なゴムボリュームの大きいラグ6の上面6aや駆動突起5の上面5aに配置された場合においても、接合面14を加硫接着するのに適した未加硫または半加硫の状態に保持することができる。
図5に示すように、この加硫成形装置1は、第一実施形態と同様に、帯状ゴム様体7の帯長手方向において、加熱ゾーンHと冷却ゾーンCとに区画された金型8を有している。この金型8は、一対の加熱金型10と、各加熱金型10の帯長手方向一端側に接続された冷却金型11とを備えている。一対の加熱金型10は、上型10aと、下型10bとを有しており、上型10a及び下型10bの外面側には、加熱部13が設けられている。また、図示しないが上下型10a、10bと加熱部13との間にモールド引き出しの為の鉄板を入れてもよい。
次に、第3工程として、加硫成形された帯状ゴム様体71を、帯長手方向前方へ所定長さでずらすように送る。そして、他の帯状ゴム様体72を加硫成形によって構成するために、上記の第1工程と同様に準備を行う。

Claims (2)
- 帯長手方向において未加硫ゴムを加硫成形する加熱ゾーンと未加硫ゴムを未加硫または半加硫のまま成形する冷却ゾーンとに区画された金型によって、帯長手方向の一端部を未加硫または半加硫のままにして帯状ゴム様体を加硫成形する第1のステップと、その後、前記加熱ゾーンにおいて、当該帯状ゴム様体に形成された未加硫または半加硫のままの前記一端部をそれと同じ帯状ゴム様体または他の帯状ゴム様体の未加硫または半加硫となっている帯長手方向の他端部に接合させて加硫接着する第2のステップと、を含み、単一または複数の前記帯状ゴム様体の一端部と他端部同士を互いに一体化させて製品を製造する弾性履帯の製造方法において、
前記第1のステップにおいて、前記帯状ゴム様体の前記一端部には、未加硫または半加硫のままの流動部が形成され、
この流動部は、
製品の形状よりも大きく形成されるとともに、その後の前記第2のステップで前記加熱ゾーンの金型により押圧されて流動することによって製品の外面を形成するゴム付き部を有していることを特徴とする弾性履帯の製造方法。 - 未加硫ゴムを加硫成形するための互いに接近離反自在な一対の加熱金型と、前記未加硫ゴムを未加硫または半加硫状態のままで成形するために前記各加熱金型の帯長手方向の少なくとも一端側に接続された冷却金型とを備え、前記加熱金型及び前記冷却金型によって、帯長手方向の一端部を未加硫または半加硫のままにして帯状ゴム様体を加硫成形し、その後、前記加熱金型によって当該帯状ゴム様体に形成された未加硫または半加硫のままの前記一端部を、それと同じ帯状ゴム様体または他の帯状ゴム様体の未加硫または半加硫となっている帯長手方向の他端部に接合させて加硫接着することによって、単一または複数の帯状ゴム様体の一端部と他端部同士を互いに一体化させて製品を製造するための弾性履帯の加硫成形装置において、
前記冷却金型には、帯状ゴム様体の一端部に未加硫または半加硫のままの流動部を形成するための流動部成型面が設けられており、
前記流動部は、
製品の形状よりも大きく形成されるとともに、当該帯状ゴム様体の前記一端部とそれと同じ帯状ゴム様体または他の帯状ゴム様体における未加硫または半加硫状態の他端部との加硫接着の際に、前記加熱金型によって押圧されて流動することによって製品の外面を形成するゴム付き部を有していることを特徴とする弾性履帯の加硫成形装置。
