中実円錐状の噴霧パターンを有するノズル(例えばスプレイング・システムズ(Spraying−Systems)GmbHからのGSC−1)を用いて懸濁液を噴霧塗布することによって表面を被覆する。このために懸濁液1.5gを試験管に秤量し、これをゴム管を用いてノズルに吸引して表面上に噴霧する。塗布された層の厚さに対する重量を決定するため、噴霧工程の前後に当該表面の重量を量る。
接触角測定
クリュスGmbHからのDSA10を用いて接触角を測定した。このために、蒸留水1滴(体積7μL)を表面に塗布して高速度カメラを用いてこの小滴の画像を作成した。評価はDSAバージョン1.80.1.2[HS]ソフトウェアを用いて円フィッティング法によって行った。
光沢値測定
ランゲ(Lange)GmbHからのREFO 3−Dを用いて光沢値を測定した。この光沢値測定のために、表面上の異なる3点において3つの角度(20°、60°、85°)から測定を行った。これらの測定値の平均値を表面全体の光沢値を表すものとし、非常に光沢値が高い場合を1、光沢のない表面を6とした。
水切れ性(Run−off performance)
被覆された基材の表面を45°傾斜させた。水滴(体積約500μL)が即座にスムーズに流れ落ちて残留しない場合は1、水滴が広がった場合、即ち転がり落ちずに蒸発してしまった場合は6とした。
浸透の遅さ
浸透が起こらない場合は1、全く滞りなく即座に浸透した場合は6とした。
知覚による認識
全体の感覚的知覚的印象。表面に処理が施されておらず汚染もされていないように感じた場合は1、被膜および汚染が非常にはっきりと認められた場合、即ち見栄えが悪いと感じた場合は6とした。
総合点
これは、評価を行った項目の平均値を計算したものである。この値が小さいほど総体的に見て効果が高い。
方法
実施例1(比較)
(特許文献11)と同様に、モル質量が約3000g/モルのポリオクタデシルビニルエーテル(ルトナール(Lutonal)(登録商標))A25)0.5gをミネラルスピリット(沸点範囲90〜100℃)98.5g中に溶解させた。この溶液中に、BET表面積が220m2/gである市販の疎水化されたヒュームドシリカ(アエロジル(登録商標)R812S、以下R812S)1.0gを激しく撹拌しながら分散させた。
実施例2
モル質量が13000g/モル、再結晶温度が5℃未満であるシロキサンワックス(テゴプレン(Tegopren)(登録商標))6814、以下TP6814)0.5gを、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン(D5)98.5g中に溶解させた。この溶液中に、BET表面積が220m2/gである市販の疎水化されたヒュームドシリカ(アエロジル(登録商標)R812S)1.0gを激しく撹拌しながら分散させた。
実施例3
モル質量が13000g/モル、再結晶温度が5℃未満であるシロキサンワックス(テゴプレン(登録商標)6814)0.5gを、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン(D5)98.5g中に溶解させた。この溶液中に、BET表面積が160m2/gである市販の疎水化されたヒュームドシリカ(アエロジル(登録商標)R8200、以下R8200)1.0gを激しく撹拌しながら分散させた。
実施例4
モル質量が13000g/モル、再結晶温度が5℃未満であるシロキサンワックス(テゴプレン(登録商標)6814)0.5gを、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン(D5)97.5gに溶解させた。この溶液中に、BET表面積が220m2/gである市販の疎水化されたヒュームドシリカ(アエロジル(登録商標)R812S)2.0gを激しく撹拌しながら分散させた。
実施例5
モル質量が13000g/モル、再結晶温度が5℃未満であるシロキサンワックス(テゴプレン(登録商標)6814)0.5gを、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン(D5)97.5gに溶解させた。この溶液中に、BET表面積が160m2/gである市販の疎水化されたヒュームドシリカ(アエロジル(登録商標)R8200)2.0gを激しく撹拌しながら分散させた。
Claims (10)
- 除去可能な防汚・撥水表面被膜を物品上に形成する方法であって、被覆工程において疎水性粒子を該物品表面に適用することによって該物品表面に凸部を備えた防汚性および撥水性を有する表面構造を生成させる方法であって、シリコーンワックスの高揮発性シロキサン溶液中に前記疎水性粒子を懸濁させる工程と、この懸濁液を物品の少なくとも1つの面に塗布する工程と、次いで前記高揮発性シロキサンを除去する工程と、を含む方法。
- 使用される前記高揮発性シロキサンが、少なくとも1種の一般式(I)の化合物および/または一般式(Ia)の環状化合物
(式中、
nは、2〜10の数であり、前記直鎖状化合物の場合は好ましくは2〜5であり、前記環状化合物の場合は好ましくは4以上〜8以上である)を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 使用される前記シリコーンワックスが、再結晶温度が約20℃未満である少なくとも1種の一般式(II)

Rは炭化水素基であって、好ましくは10〜20個の炭素原子を有し、
nは2〜85であり、
mは2〜60である)の化合物を含む、請求項1または請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記懸濁液を物品上に噴霧塗布することによって該懸濁液が該物品の少なくとも1つの面に塗布される、請求項1〜3の少なくとも一項に記載の方法。
- 表面にナノメータ領域の微細構造を有する粒子が使用される、請求項1〜4の少なくとも一項に記載の方法。
- 平均粒径が0.02〜100μmの粒子が使用される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 疎水化されたシリカ、酸化亜鉛、および/または二酸化チタンから選択される粒子が使用される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- シリコーンワックスの高揮発性シロキサン溶液中に懸濁させた疎水性粒子の、表面を処理して該表面を撥水性かつ防汚性にするための使用。
- シリコーンワックスの高揮発性シロキサン溶液中に懸濁させた疎水性粒子の、含浸組成物としての使用。
- 請求項1〜7の少なくとも一項に記載された方法によって形成された撥水・防汚被膜が少なくとも1つの面に施された物品。
