Description
Claims (5)
- (a)近位端と遠位端、および前記端間の長さ方向を有するバルーンであって、前記バルーンは膨張した状態と萎んだ状態を有し、前記バルーンは、萎んだ状態において前記端間に萎んだ長さを有し、膨張した状態において膨張した長さを有し、前記膨張した長さは前記萎んだ長さよりも短いようなバルーンと、
(b)前記バルーン内に配置されて、前記バルーンの長さ方向に延在するチューブであって、前記チューブは前記バルーンを貫通する通路を少なくとも部分的に画定する内孔を有し、前記チューブは前記バルーンの前記近位端に機械的に連結される近位端と、前記バルーンの前記遠位端に機械的に連結される遠位端を有し、前記チューブは、前記バルーンが萎むとき、長さ方向に伸ばされ、前記バルーンが膨張するとき、長さ方向に短縮され、前記チューブの前記内孔は、そのような伸張および圧縮にも関わらず、実質的に一定に維持される直径寸法を有するようなチューブと、
前記バルーンの前記近位端に機械的に連結されるキャリアカテーテルと
を備え、
前記キャリアカテーテルが前記チューブの孔と連通する孔を有している、装置。 - (a)近位端と遠位端、および前記端間の長さ方向を有するバルーンであって、前記バルーンは膨張した状態と萎んだ状態を有し、前記バルーンは、萎んだ状態において前記端間に萎んだ長さを有し、膨張した状態において膨張した長さを有し、前記膨張した長さは前記萎んだ長さよりも短いようなバルーンと、
(b)前記バルーン内に配置されて、前記バルーンの長さ方向に延在するチューブであって、前記チューブは前記バルーンを貫く通路を少なくとも部分的に画定する内孔を有し、前記チューブは前記バルーンの前記近位端に機械的に連結される近位端と、前記バルーンの前記遠位端に機械的に連結される遠位端を有し、前記チューブは、前記バルーンが萎むとき、長さ方向に伸ばされ、前記バルーンが膨張するとき、長さ方向に短縮され、前記チューブは発泡ポリマーからなる群から選択される材料から形成されるようなチューブと、
前記バルーンの前記近位端に機械的に連結されるキャリアカテーテルと
を備え、
前記キャリアカテーテルが前記チューブの孔と連通する孔を有している、装置。 - 前記チューブは、発泡ポリテトラフルオロエチレンから形成される、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記チューブの前記孔は、前記バルーンが萎み、前記チューブが短縮したとき、第1内径を有し、前記バルーンが膨張し、前記チューブが伸ばされたとき、第2内径を有し、前記第1および第2内径は、前記第1内径の約20%未満の大きさだけ、互いに異なる、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記キャリアカテーテルと前記孔を貫通し、前記バルーンの前記遠位端から外に突出する細長要素をさらに備える、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
