Description
図1は、本発明に係る回転速度検出装置付き車輪用軸受装置の第1の実施形態を示す縦断面図、図2は図1の要部拡大図、図3は図2のA矢視図である。なお、以下の説明では、車両に組み付けた状態で車両の外側寄りとなる側をアウトボード側(図面左側)、中央寄り側をインボード側(図面右側)という。
複列の転がり軸受2は、外方部材4と内方部材3と複列の転動体(ボール)5、5とを備えている。外方部材4は、S53C等の炭素0.40〜0.80wt%を含む中炭素鋼からなり、外周に懸架装置(図示せず)に取り付けるための車体取付フランジ4bを一体に有すると共に、内周に複列の外側転走面4a、4aが形成され、高周波焼入れによって表面硬さを54〜64HRCの範囲に硬化層が形成されている。
ハブ輪25は、一端部に車輪取付フランジ7を一体に有し、外周に軸状の小径段部25aが形成されている。複列の転がり軸受26はこの小径段部25aに所定のシメシロを介して外嵌され、小径段部25aの端部を径方向外方に塑性変形させて形成した加締部25bによって軸方向に固定されている。

Claims (3)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が形成された外方部材と、
一端部に車輪を取り付けるための車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、
およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に圧入された内輪とからなり、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
前記外方部材および内方部材のそれぞれの転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、
前記外方部材と内方部材とで形成される環状空間を密封するシール装置とを備え、
これらシール装置のうちインボード側のシール装置が、前記内輪に外嵌された保持板と、
この保持板に一体に接合された磁気エンコーダと、
この磁気エンコーダを覆うように前記外方部材の端部に装着され、非磁性材料からなる環状のカバー部材とを有し、
このカバー部材に所定のすきまを介して対峙する検出センサに、前記カバー部材を通して前記磁気エンコーダの電波信号を送信する回転速度検出装置付き車輪用軸受装置において、
前記カバー部材が非磁性体の鋼板からプレス加工によって形成された芯金と、この芯金に一体に接合されたシールリップとを備え、前記芯金の周方向一箇所に弾性部材からなる遮蔽部材が設けられると共に、この遮蔽部材に形成された凹所に前記検出センサが弾性嵌合され、前記磁気エンコーダと検出センサが、前記カバー部材と遮蔽部材を介して対峙し、前記検出センサの検出部を外部から遮蔽するようにしたことを特徴とする回転速度検出装置付き車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記保持板が、前記内輪に外嵌される円筒部と、この円筒部から径方向外方に延びる保持部を有し、この保持部の軸方向外方側に前記磁気エンコーダが一体に接合されると共に、前記カバー部材の内端部にシール部材が接合され、このシール部材が前記円筒部に摺接されている請求項1に記載の回転速度検出装置付き車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記遮蔽部材がエラストマからなり、前記カバー部材に加硫接着されている請求項1または2に記載の回転速度検出装置付き車輪用軸受装置。
