Claims (2)
- 光ディスクの記録面に光を集光する対物レンズと、前記対物レンズを保持するレンズホルダと、前記レンズホルダに取り付けたフォーカシングコイルおよび複数のトラッキングコイルと、前記レンズホルダを支持するための固定部と、前記レンズホルダを含む可動部を固定部に対してフォーカシング方向およびトラッキング方向に動作可能に支持する支持部材と、前記レンズホルダの両側面に対向して配置した永久磁石とを有する対物レンズ駆動装置において、
前記支持部材の反固定部側の先端部を、前記フォーカシングコイルの端末およびトラッキングコイルの端末に接続部材を介して接続し、前記レンズホルダの固定部側の側面であって前記レンズホルダのトラッキング方向両端側に少なくとも2個の前記トラッキングコイルを配置し、前記レンズホルダの反固定部側の側面であって前記レンズホルダのトラッキング方向中央寄りに少なくとも2個の前記トラッキングコイルを配置するとともに、
固定部側の前記トラッキングコイルの質量が、反固定部側の前記トラッキングコイルの質量よりも大きく、前記接続部材がはんだであることを特徴とする対物レンズ駆動装置。 - 前記永久磁石は、固定部側の前記トラッキングコイルに対向する第1の永久磁石と、反固定部側の前記トラッキングコイルに対向する第2の永久磁石とを有し、前記第1の永久磁石とこれに対向するトラッキングコイルの間隔が、前記第2の永久磁石とこれに対向するトラッキングコイルの間隔よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1記載の対物レンズ駆動装置。
