Description
ここで、i=1,2,3,・・・,n、f()は、1回の燃料噴射により生じる燃料希釈量を求めるための関数であり、その燃料噴射が実行されるときの、燃料噴射量QINJ、燃料噴射時期AINJ、機関冷却水温THWを、パラメータとしている。また、「i」は、その燃料噴射が前回の制御周期から何回目のものに相当するかを示している。たとえば、前回の制御周期から今回の制御周期までの間に3回の燃料噴射が行なわれた場合、式(1)は式(2)のように表わすことができる。
なお、この関数f()は、実験等により予め求められ、エンジンECU300のROM320に関数マップとして記憶されている。また、その基本的な特性は、1)燃料噴射量QINJが多くなるほど関数f()の値は大きくなる、2)燃料噴射時期AINJが遅角側にあるほど関数f()の値は大きくなる、3)機関冷却水温THWが低くなるほど関数f()の値は大きくなる。
ここで、g()は、時間周期Tあたりの燃料蒸発量ΔFVを求めるための関数であり、機関始動時水温THWST、機関始動後の燃料噴射量積算値QINJSUMを、パラメータとしている。ちなみに、機関始動時水温THWSTは機関始動時における潤滑油の初期温度を推定するためのものであり、また機関始動後の燃料噴射量積算値QINJSUMは、その後の潤滑油の温度上昇量を推定するためのものである。すなわち、関数g()は、基本的に、潤滑油温度を推定し、その推定結果を燃料の蒸発量に変換するためのものである。この関数g()は、実験等を通じて予め求められ、エンジンECU300のROM320に関数マップとして記憶されている。また、その基本的な特性は、以下に示す通りである。1)機関始動時水温THWSTが高くなるほどg()の値は大きくなる、2)機関始動後の燃料噴射量積算値QINJSUMが多くなるほどg()の値は大きくなる。このようにして単位時間当たり燃料希釈量ΔFDおよび燃料蒸発量ΔFVが算出される。
式(4)に示されるように、ここでは、燃料希釈度合いFDSUMの増大速度ΔFDおよびその低下速度ΔFVに基づいて、現在の燃料希釈度合いFDSUMが更新される。そして、その更新値が新たな燃料希釈度合いFDSUMとして学習され、エンジンECU300のROM320に記憶される。
以下、本発明の実施の形態に係る変形例について説明する。本変形例においては、前述の実施の形態においては筒内噴射用インジェクタ110へ供給される燃料の圧力を低く変更したが、本変形例においては筒内噴射用インジェクタの燃料噴射期間および燃料噴射時期の少なくともいずれか一方を変更することにより、筒内噴射用インジェクタ110から噴射された燃料が気筒内周面に付着することを回避する。本変形例に係るハードウェア構成は前述の図1に示したものと同じである。したがって、それらについての詳細な説明は繰返さない。本変形例においては、オイル希釈の度合が大であると判断された場合に、エンジンECU300は、筒内噴射用インジェクタ110の燃料噴射時期および燃料噴射期間の少なくとも一方を変更して、気筒内周面に筒内噴射用インジェクタ110から噴射された燃料が当たらないようにする。
図6および図7を参照して、エンジン10の運転状態に対応させた情報である、筒内噴射用インジェクタ110と吸気通路噴射用インジェクタ120との噴き分け比率(以下、DI比率(r)とも記載する。)を表わすマップについて説明する。これらのマップは、エンジンECU300のROM320に記憶される。図6は、エンジン10の温間用マップであって、図7は、エンジン10の冷間用マップである。
Claims (3)
- 筒内に燃料を噴射するための第1の燃料噴射手段と吸気通路内に燃料を噴射するための第2の燃料噴射手段とを備えた内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記内燃機関に要求される条件に基づいて、前記第1の燃料噴射手段と前記第2の燃料噴射手段とで分担して燃料を噴射するように、燃料噴射手段を制御するための制御手段と、
前記内燃機関の潤滑に用いられる潤滑油が燃料により希釈された度合いを推定するための希釈度合推定手段とを含み、
前記制御手段は、前記度合いが大きいと推定された場合には、前記度合いを抑制するように、前記第1の燃料噴射手段の燃料噴射時期の変更および燃料噴射期間の短縮のいずれか一方の処理を行なうことにより、気筒内周面に前記第1の燃料噴射手段から噴射された燃料が当たらないように、前記第1の燃料噴射手段を制御し、
前記制御手段は、前記第1の燃料噴射手段の燃料噴射期間の短縮により、要求燃料噴射量に対して不足分が生じる場合には、前記不足分を補って内燃機関に要求される性能を満足させるように前記第2の燃料噴射手段を制御する、内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記制御手段は、前記内燃機関のピストンの位置と前記第1の燃料噴射手段による燃料噴射方向とに基づいて、前記気筒内周面に前記第1の燃料噴射手段から噴射された燃料が当たらないように、前記第1の燃料噴射手段を制御する、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記第1の燃料噴射手段は、筒内噴射用インジェクタであって、
前記第2の燃料噴射手段は、吸気通路用インジェクタである、請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
