Description

図1〜4を参照すると、本発明の好ましい具体例に従う脈管閉塞用装置10は、3種の細長い同軸要素:内部コア要素11、非金属製中間要素12、及び該中間要素の少なくとも一部分を覆う非膨張性外部要素13を備えている。中間要素12は、内部要素11及び外部要素13の両方と密接に接触した状態にある。

Claims (15)
- 次の構成:
細長い可撓性の糸状内部要素と、
該内部要素を同軸に取り囲み且つそれと密接に接触した非金属製の中間要素と、
該中間要素を同軸に取り囲み且つそれと密接に接触した外部要素であって該中間要素を露出させるギャップ又は開口を画定するものと
を備え、
該中間要素が膨張性重合体材料を含む、脈管閉塞用装置。 - 内部要素が、金属ワイヤー及び重合体フィラメントよりなる群から選択される生体適合性材料から作られたマイクロコイルを含む、請求項1に記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 外部要素が、中間要素を露出させるギャップ又は開口を画定する間隔をあけて巻き付けられたらせん状コイル部分を含む、請求項1又は2のいずれかに記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 内部要素が近位末端及び遠位末端を有し、しかも脈管閉塞用装置が該近位末端に取り付けられる連結要素をさらに備えた、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 膨張性重合体材料が本質的にヒドロゲルからなる請求項1に記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- ヒドロゲルが環境パラメーターの変化に応答して膨張するタイプのものである請求項5に記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 環境パラメーターが温度及びpHよりなる群から選択される請求項6に記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 中間要素が、膨張するときに外部要素の開口を通して拡大して、凸状に湾曲した弓状セグメントの連鎖を画定する波状形状を有する外部表面を形成する、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 内部要素が近位末端及び遠位末端を有し、しかも外部要素が、それぞれ該内部要素に該内部要素の該近位末端と該遠位末端とに隣接して取り付けられた近位末端部と遠位末端部との間に広がる、ギャップ又は開口を画定する間隔をあけて巻き付けられたらせん状コイル部分を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 外部要素の近位末端部がきつく巻き付けられたらせん状コイル部を含む、請求項9に記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 外部要素の近位末端部及び遠位末端部のそれぞれがきつく巻き付けられたらせん状コイル部を含む、請求項9に記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 内部要素の近位末端と外部要素の近位末端部とに取り付けられる連結要素をさらに備えた、請求項10に記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 内部要素及び中間要素の少なくとも一つが少なくとも部分的に非金属製の生体適合性材料から作られた、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 生体適合性材料が生物活性剤を含む、請求項13に記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
- 生体適合性材料が治療用化合物を含む、請求項13に記載の脈管閉塞用装置。
