Description
この反射性干渉フィルターは滑らかな表面を有するシート基材10の上に付着されている。この基材は通常ポリエステル、ポリプロピレンもしくはクラフト紙のような材料の薄いシートである。基材材料のロールを真空装置内で連続的にコートできるような高速コーティングには薄可撓性基材が望ましい。コーティング速度を犠牲にすれば、薄フィルムは硬質基材上にコートしてもよい。

トリプロピレングリコールジアクリレートとトリプロピレングリコールメチルエーテルモノアクリレートの50/50ブレンドは205の平均比を有する。より分子量の高い材料をβカルボキシエチルアクリレート(BCEA)と混合して適当な分子量の材料を提供してもよい。
そのようなドラムは、モノマーの重合度に差がある、すなわち収縮度に差がある実施態様においても有効である。モノマーを電子ビームで重合させる場合、ドラムの表面68と接触している基材の領域は接地されており、一方くぼみ69と面している領域は接地されておらず、静電荷を生じ、電子ビームを寄せつけない。モノマーに対する全照射の差は誘電材料層における重合度の違いとなる。得られる収縮の差は多色像を形成する。

Claims (5)
- 基材上に干渉カラーコーティングを形成する方法であって、以下の工程
アクリレートモノマーを蒸発させること、
基材上にモノマーフィルムとしてアクリレートモノマーを凝縮させること、
このアクリレートを重合し、干渉カラーを形成するに十分な厚さを有するポリマーフィルムを形成すること、及び
このポリマーフィルムの両面に少なくとも一部白色光反射性のコーティングを提供すること
を含む方法。 - 基材上に干渉カラーコーティングを形成する方法であって、以下の工程
第一のアクリレートモノマーを蒸発させること、
基材上にモノマーフィルムとして第一のアクリレートモノマーを凝縮させること、
このアクリレートを重合し、第一の屈折率を有する第一のポリマーフィルムを形成すること、
第二のアクリレートモノマーを蒸発させること、
第一のフィルム上にモノマーフィルムとして第二のアクリレートモノマーを凝縮させること、
このアクリレートを重合し、第二の屈折率を有する第二のポリマーフィルムを形成すること、ここで第二の屈折率は第一の屈折率とは異なる、
このポリマーフィルムの最外層に少なくとも一部白色光反射性の金属コーティングを提供すること
を含む方法。 - 一部白色光反射性の金属コーティングの間に低屈折率材料と高屈折率材料の複数の交互の層を設けること、の工程を特徴とする、請求項2記載の方法。
- ポリマーフィルムの所定の領域を、ポリマーフィルムの隣接する領域の厚さとは異なる厚さで形成し、それぞれの領域からの干渉カラーを変化させることを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 第一の少なくとも一部白色光反射性の層、
前記少なくとも一部白色光反射性の層上に、モノマーより形成された架橋した透明なアクリレート層、このアクリレート層は干渉カラーを形成するに十分な厚さを有する、及び
アクリレート層の第一の少なくとも一部白色光反射性の層とは反対の面上の第二の少なくとも一部白色光反射性の層
を含む干渉カラーフィルター。
