Description
1.切込み力を縁部の面に程好い切り目が出来る程度に設定すると、破断は成功するが、ガラスシートの正味部では、ガラスに過剰の切込み力が働く結果、実際の破断工程前に、ガラスは勝手に割れてしまう。
2.切込み力を正味部の面に程好い切り目が出来る程度に設定し、ガラスが割れないようにする。だが、縁部では切れ目は不十分であり、ローラの痕が出来るに留まる。その結果、続く破断工程において、縁部は割れないか、勝手に割れてしまうかの何れかである。
1.切込み力を縁部の面に程好い切り目が出来る程度に設定すると、破断は成功するが、ガラスシートの正味部では、ガラスに過剰の切込み力が働く結果、実際の破断工程前に、ガラスは勝手に割れてしまう。
2.切込み力を正味部の面に程好い切り目が出来る程度に設定し、ガラスが割れないようにする。だが、縁部では切れ目は不十分であり、ローラの痕が出来るに留まる。その結果、続く破断工程において、縁部は割れないか、勝手に割れてしまうかの何れがである。これ等の不都合を避けるため、(図2のA部にも示すように)ガラスシートの流れ方向に対して直角に傾けて行う切込み動作で、ガラスシート上の小切込み車(ホイール)7の接触点に応じて(の関数として)、切込み力Fを変化させる。ガラス厚みの大きい縁部ではより強い切込み力が加わり、正味部では切込み力をより小さくする。
Claims (7)
- 板ガラスの生産中に、幅方向に厚み分布が不均一な長尺ガラスシートの切断を、ガラスシートの移動方向に対して切込み工具を角度をもたせてガラスシートの幅方向に、制御装置により予め定められた切込み力を加えながら移動させ、亀裂をガラスシートに生じさせ、次いでガラスシートをこの亀裂に沿って機械的に破断して行う方法であって、
ガラスシートの各位置上の切込み力は外部的に入力された制御指令に基づいて制御装置が能動的に与えられ、そしてガラスシートの各位置上の前記切込み力は、ガラスシートの各位置におけるガラスシートの厚みに応じて設定されるようにして成る方法。 - 切込み工具の位置をそのクロスカット動作中に連続して検出し、切込み工具の位置に応じて、制御装置がガラス厚みの一定なガラスシートの部分には適宜に適応した切込み力を加え、ガラス厚みがより大きい又は小さい部分にはそれに応じてより大きい又はより小さい切込み力を加えるようにして成る請求項1に記載の方法。
- 切込み力の位置依存切換え点を、制御装置に固定的に特定させるようにして成る請求項2に記載の方法。
- ガラスの厚みに適応する切込み力が、厚み分布の初期測定値の関数として所定の仕方で制御装置に予め定められるようにして成る請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- ガラスの厚みがクロスカット中に複数のセンサにより連続して検出され、その関数として切込み力が制御装置で自動的に調整されるようにして成る請求項1に記載の方法。
- 亀裂が小型切込みホイールにより機械的に生成され、切込み力がガラスシートに対するこの小型切込みホイールの圧力に基づいて予め定められるようにして成る請求項5に記載の方法。
- 亀裂が熱機械的歪みの誘起により生成され、切込み力が熱源の出力により予め定められるようにして成る請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
