Claims (8)
- 固体高分子電解質膜の両面に第1電極と該第1電極よりも大きな表面積を有する第2電極とを配設するとともに、燃料電池に組み込まれる電解質膜・電極構造体であって、
少なくとも前記第1電極又は第2電極は、接着層により前記固体高分子電解質膜の面に固定されるとともに、
少なくとも前記第1電極又は第2電極を構成する電極触媒層の周面部位には、前記電極触媒層と前記接着層とが混在する混在層が設けられることを特徴とする電解質膜・電極構造体。 - 請求項1記載の電解質膜・電極構造体において、少なくとも前記第1電極又は第2電極は、前記電極触媒層、保水層及び撥水層を備えるとともに、
前記保水層及び前記撥水層の周面部位には、前記接着層が混在する混在層が設けられることを特徴とする電解質膜・電極構造体。 - 請求項1又は2記載の電解質膜・電極構造体において、前記第1電極を構成する前記電極触媒層の面積は、前記第2電極を構成する前記電極触媒層の面積とは異なることを特徴とする電解質膜・電極構造体。
- 固体高分子電解質膜の両面に接着層により第1及び第2電極が固定されるとともに、燃料電池に組み込まれる電解質膜・電極構造体であって、
少なくとも前記第1電極又は第2電極は、前記固体高分子電解質膜の面に設けられる電極触媒層と、
前記電極触媒層上に設けられる保水層と、
前記保水層上に設けられる撥水層と、
前記撥水層上に設けられるガス拡散層と、
を備えるとともに、
前記電極触媒層、前記保水層及び前記撥水層の周面部位には、前記接着層が混在する混在層が設けられることを特徴とする電解質膜・電極構造体。 - 固体高分子電解質膜の両面に第1電極と該第1電極よりも大きな表面積を有する第2電極とを配設した電解質膜・電極構造体を備え、前記電解質膜・電極構造体を一対のセパレータで挟持する燃料電池であって、
少なくとも前記第1電極又は第2電極は、接着層により前記固体高分子電解質膜の面に固定されるとともに、
少なくとも前記第1電極又は第2電極を構成する電極触媒層の周面部位には、前記電極触媒層と前記接着層とが混在する混在層が設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項5記載の燃料電池において、少なくとも前記第1電極又は第2電極は、前記電極触媒層、保水層及び撥水層を備えるとともに、
前記保水層及び前記撥水層の周面部位には、前記接着層が混在する混在層が設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項5又は6記載の燃料電池において、前記第1電極を構成する前記電極触媒層の面積は、前記第2電極を構成する前記電極触媒層の面積とは異なることを特徴とする燃料電池。
- 固体高分子電解質膜の両面に接着層により第1及び第2電極が固定されるとともに、燃料電池に組み込まれる電解質膜・電極構造体を備え、前記電解質膜・電極構造体を一対のセパレータで挟持する燃料電池であって、
少なくとも前記第1電極又は第2電極は、前記固体高分子電解質膜の面に設けられる電極触媒層と、
前記電極触媒層上に設けられる保水層と、
前記保水層上に設けられる撥水層と、
前記撥水層上に設けられるガス拡散層と、
を備えるとともに、
前記電極触媒層、前記保水層及び前記撥水層の周面部位には、前記接着層が混在する混在層が設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池。
