として求めた。なお、パルス光を入射したときのパルス光強度は図4に示すように8.2GW/m2であり、パルス光を入射しないときの強度は0.16GW/m2とした。また膜厚は、図2に示す試料の一部にスパッタリングによる熱の発生に耐える樹脂テープを貼ってマスクとし、成膜後にその樹脂テープを剥がして基板面と膜面の段差を形成し、その段差を触針式の表面粗さ計を用いて測定した。
ここで、Tは励起光強度が8.2GW/m2のときにおいて最も大きく変化したときの透過率であり、T0は励起光強度が0.16GW/m2と弱い場合の定常状態における透過率である。なお、測定光波長は405nmで一定とした。後で述べるように、この比透過率差ΔTは光ディスクの信号強度であるC/N比を大きくとる必要があることから、10%以上であることが好ましい。図10に示すように、Fe2O3薄膜のバンドギャップに相当する波長である470nmよりも若干、長波長側の500nm程度から短波長側で大きく透過率が上昇し、400nmで約28%、300nmでは38%程度の透過率変化が得られることが分かった。また、10%以上の透過率変化を得るためには励起光波長が530nm以下であることが必要であることがわかった。

ここでRMiは金属元素Miの三価のイオン半径、RMjは金属元素Mjの三価のイオン半径である。イオン半径はR.D.Shannonのイオン半径を用いた。No.24〜27に記載されているCo3O4はCo2+とCo3+混合原子価混合酸化物であるが、Co3+を含む化合物であるため、Co3+をMi3+としてそのイオン半径を用いて計算した。
Claims (11)
- 基板上に少なくとも反射層と光情報記録層と超解像層と保護層を有する光情報記録媒体であり、上記超解像層はFe2O3とGa2O3を含有することを特徴とする光情報記録媒体。
- 上記Fe2O3を20%〜55%、上記Ga2O3を45%〜80%含有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記基板上にさらに熱吸収層を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記熱吸収層はBi、またはGe-Sb-Te系合金から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記超解像層は熱吸収材料が分散されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記熱吸収材料はBi、またはGe-Sb-Te系合金から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記光情報記録層は基板上に形成された情報を書き込み可能な薄膜であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記光情報記録層は基板に直接描画された記録パターンであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 少なくとも光情報記録媒体より光情報を読み書きするためのピックアップと、上記光情報記録媒体を支持し、かつ回転駆動を与えるスピンドル及びスピンドルモータとを具備する光情報記録再生装置であり、上記光情報記録媒体は少なくとも基板と、その記録面上に形成された反射層と光情報記録層と超解像層と保護層を有し、上記超解像層はFe2O3とGa2O3を含有することを特徴とする光情報記録再生装置。
- 上記光情報記録媒体は熱吸収層を有することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の光情報記録再生装置。
- 上記超解像層は熱吸収材料が分散されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の光情報記録再生装置。
