Claims (7)
- 排気通路にターボ過給機のタービンを配設し、前記タービンの下流側に前記タービンに近接させて空燃比センサを配設した内燃機関において、前記タービンの排気口の軸心線と同軸に前記空燃比センサの素子部が位置するように前記空燃比センサを配置したことを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 前記タービンのタービンホイールをバイパスして排ガスを流通させるバイパス通路が設けられ、該バイパス通路の出口が、前記排気口から前記空燃比センサまでの間の前記排気通路に接線方向に開口されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関。
- 少なくとも前記排気口から前記空燃比センサまでの間の前記排気通路に、半径方向外側に窪まされた凹部が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の内燃機関。
- 前記凹部が、前記排気通路の周方向に沿った溝からなることを特徴とする請求項3記載の内燃機関。
- 前記溝が、前記排気口から前記空燃比センサまでの間の所定位置から前記空燃比センサの下流側の所定位置まで延びる螺旋状の溝からなることを特徴とする請求項4記載の内燃機関。
- 前記排気口の下流側の前記排気通路に屈曲部が形成され、前記空燃比センサが前記屈曲部に前記排気口の軸心線と同軸に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5いずれかに記載の内燃機関。
- 前記屈曲部が90°の角度で屈曲されていることを特徴とする請求項6記載の内燃機関。
