Description
前記左右輪差動装置は、前記変速機の出力軸から駆動を受けて回転するデフケースと、前記デフケース内に収容され前記左右輪に駆動力を分配する差動歯車機構と、前記差動歯車機構に連結され車幅方向に延びる左右一対の駆動軸とを有し、前記前後輪伝達装置は、前記デフケースに連結され、前記駆動軸の一方に同軸に設けられた他方輪出力部材と、前記他方輪出力部材に駆動連結され車両前後方向に延びる前後輪伝達軸とを有し、
前記配分制御装置は、前記前後輪伝達装置の外枠の外方で前記前後輪伝達装置を基準に前記左右輪差動装置の配設側とは逆側の前記エンジン配設側に配設されるとともに前記駆動軸の一方と前記他方輪出力部材との差動を制限するクラッチ機構を有し、
前記クラッチ機構は、前記他方輪出力部材と前記駆動軸の一方との間に設けられた多板クラッチと、該多板クラッチの接断を行わせる電磁コイルとを有し、
前記電磁コイルは、ステーを介して前記エンジンのシリンダブロックに固定されるとともに、前記ステーは前記電磁コイルを車幅方向外側から覆っていることを特徴として車両用差動制限装置を構成した。
クラッチ機構を備え適切な配分制御が可能となる配分制御装置を、前後輪伝達装置を挟んで左右輪差動装置の配設されていない側、所謂逆側に配設させたので、前後輪伝達装置を基準に左右輪差動装置と配分制御装置とをバランスよく配設することができ、省スペース化を図れる。

Claims (2)
- 横置き状態で支持される車両用エンジンおよび変速機と、
前記変速機の出力を前記車両の前輪と後輪のいずれか一方の左右輪に分配する左右輪差動装置と、
前記左右輪差動装置より車幅方向中心側に配設され、前記変速機の出力を前記車両の前輪と後輪のいずれか他方に伝達する前後輪伝達装置と、
前記一方の左右輪に伝達される出力の配分を制御する配分制御装置とを備える車両用差動制限装置であって、
前記左右輪差動装置は、
前記変速機の出力軸から駆動を受けて回転するデフケースと、
前記デフケース内に収容され前記左右輪に駆動力を分配する差動歯車機構と、
前記差動歯車機構に連結され車幅方向に延びる左右一対の駆動軸とを有し、
前記前後輪伝達装置は、
前記デフケースに連結され、前記駆動軸の一方に同軸に設けられた他方輪出力部材と、
前記他方輪出力部材に駆動連結され車両前後方向に延びる前後輪伝達軸とを有し、
前記配分制御装置は、
前記前後輪伝達装置の外枠の外方で前記前後輪伝達装置を基準に前記左右輪差動装置の配設側とは逆側の前記エンジン配設側に配設されるとともに前記駆動軸の一方と前記他方輪出力部材との差動を制限するクラッチ機構を有し、
前記クラッチ機構は、
前記他方輪出力部材と前記駆動軸の一方との間に設けられた多板クラッチと、該多板クラッチの接断を行わせる電磁コイルとを有し、
前記電磁コイルは、ステーを介して前記エンジンのシリンダブロックに固定されるとともに、前記ステーは前記電磁コイルを車幅方向外側から覆っていることを特徴とする車両用差動制限装置。 - 前記電磁コイルは、前記多板クラッチを挟んで前記前後輪伝達装置の逆側に配置されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用差動制限装置。
