Description
駆動軸に動力を出力する動力出力装置であって、
内燃機関と、
該内燃機関の出力軸と前記駆動軸とに接続され、電力と動力の入出力を伴って前記内燃機関からの動力の少なくとも一部を前記駆動軸に出力する電力動力入出力手段と、
前記駆動軸に動力を入出力可能な電動機と、
前記電力動力入出力手段および前記電動機と電力のやりとりが可能な蓄電手段と、
前記駆動軸に出力すべき要求駆動力を設定する要求駆動力設定手段と、
前記内燃機関の爆発燃焼を継続する爆発燃焼継続条件が成立していないときには前記設定された要求駆動力に基づいて前記内燃機関の間欠運転を含めて該内燃機関の目標運転状態を設定し、前記爆発燃焼継続条件が成立しているときには前記設定された要求駆動力に基づいて前記内燃機関の運転継続をもって該内燃機関の目標運転状態を設定する目標運転状態設定手段と、
前記爆発燃焼継続条件が成立している最中に前記駆動軸に制動力または軽負荷を出力する所定の駆動状態ではないときには前記内燃機関が前記設定された目標運転状態で運転されると共に前記設定された要求駆動力に基づく駆動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるよう前記内燃機関と前記電力動力入出力手段と前記電動機とを制御する中高負荷燃焼継続制御を実行し、前記所定の駆動状態のときには前記内燃機関の爆発燃焼の継続を伴って該内燃機関が前記設定された目標運転状態で運転されると共に前記設定された要求駆動力に基づく駆動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるよう前記内燃機関と前記電力動力入出力手段と前記電動機とを制御する低負荷燃焼継続制御を実行する制御手段と、
を備えることを要旨とする。
内燃機関と、該内燃機関の出力軸と駆動軸とに接続され電力と動力の入出力を伴って前記内燃機関からの動力の少なくとも一部を前記駆動軸に出力する電力動力入出力手段と、前記駆動軸に動力を入出力可能な電動機と、前記電力動力入出力手段および前記電動機と電力のやりとりが可能な蓄電手段と、を備える動力出力装置の制御方法であって、
(a)前記内燃機関の爆発燃焼を継続する爆発燃焼継続条件が成立していないときには前記駆動軸に出力すべき要求駆動力に基づいて前記内燃機関の間欠運転を含めて該内燃機関の目標運転状態を設定し、前記爆発燃焼継続条件が成立しているときには前記要求駆動力に基づいて前記内燃機関の運転継続をもって該内燃機関の目標運転状態を設定し、
(b)前記爆発燃焼継続条件が成立している最中に前記駆動軸に制動力または軽負荷を出力する所定の駆動状態ではないときには前記内燃機関が前記設定した目標運転状態で運転されると共に前記要求駆動力に基づく駆動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるよう前記内燃機関と前記電力動力入出力手段と前記電動機とを制御する中高負荷燃焼継続制御を実行し、前記所定の駆動状態のときには前記内燃機関の爆発燃焼の継続を伴って該内燃機関が前記設定した目標運転状態で運転されると共に前記要求駆動力に基づく駆動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるよう前記内燃機関と前記電力動力入出力手段と前記電動機とを制御する低負荷燃焼継続制御を実行する
ことを要旨とする。

Claims (12)
- 駆動軸に動力を出力する動力出力装置であって、
内燃機関と、
該内燃機関の出力軸と前記駆動軸とに接続され、電力と動力の入出力を伴って前記内燃機関からの動力の少なくとも一部を前記駆動軸に出力する電力動力入出力手段と、
前記駆動軸に動力を入出力可能な電動機と、
前記電力動力入出力手段および前記電動機と電力のやりとりが可能な蓄電手段と、
前記駆動軸に出力すべき要求駆動力を設定する要求駆動力設定手段と、
前記内燃機関の爆発燃焼を継続する爆発燃焼継続条件が成立していないときには前記設定された要求駆動力に基づいて前記内燃機関の間欠運転を含めて該内燃機関の目標運転状態を設定し、前記爆発燃焼継続条件が成立しているときには前記設定された要求駆動力に基づいて前記内燃機関の運転継続をもって該内燃機関の目標運転状態を設定する目標運転状態設定手段と、
前記爆発燃焼継続条件が成立している最中に前記駆動軸に制動力または軽負荷を出力する所定の駆動状態ではないときには前記内燃機関が前記設定された目標運転状態で運転されると共に前記設定された要求駆動力に基づく駆動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるよう前記内燃機関と前記電力動力入出力手段と前記電動機とを制御する中高負荷燃焼継続制御を実行し、前記所定の駆動状態のときには前記内燃機関の爆発燃焼の継続を伴って該内燃機関が前記設定された目標運転状態で運転されると共に前記設定された要求駆動力に基づく駆動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるよう前記内燃機関と前記電力動力入出力手段と前記電動機とを制御する低負荷燃焼継続制御を実行する制御手段と、
を備える動力出力装置。 - 前記目標運転状態設定手段は、前記所定の駆動状態のときには前記内燃機関が所定の回転数で自立運転する運転状態を前記目標運転状態として設定する手段である請求項1記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記所定の駆動状態のときには前記内燃機関の爆発燃焼が継続される範囲内で該内燃機関の運転状態を変更して該内燃機関の運転状態が前記設定された目標運転状態に至るよう制御する手段である請求項1または2記載の動力出力装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記所定の駆動状態のときには前記内燃機関の運転状態が単位時間当たり所定回転数ずつ変更されて前記設定した目標運転状態に至るよう制御する手段である請求項3記載の動力出力装置。
- 請求項1ないし4いずれか記載の動力出力装置であって、
前記蓄電手段の状態に基づいて該蓄電手段の充電を許容する最大電力である入力制限を設定する入力制限設定手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記設定された入力制限の範囲内で前記内燃機関と前記電力動力入出力手段と前記電動機とを制御する手段である
動力出力装置。 - 請求項5記載の動力出力装置であって、
前記蓄電手段を充放電する電力を検出する充放電電力検出手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記所定の駆動状態のときに前記検出された充放電電力が前記設定された入力制限の範囲内となるよう前記低負荷燃焼継続制御を実行すると前記内燃機関を前記設定された目標運転状態で運転することができないときには、前記内燃機関の燃料噴射を停止して該内燃機関が前記目標運転状態で運転されるよう制御する手段である
動力出力装置。 - 前記制御手段は、前記内燃機関の燃料噴射を停止して該内燃機関が前記目標運転状態で運転されるよう制御する際には、該内燃機関の回転数が単位時間当たり所定回転数ずつ変化するよう制御する手段である請求項6記載の動力出力装置。
- 請求項1ないし7いずれか記載の動力出力装置であって、
前記内燃機関は、触媒を用いて排ガスを浄化する排ガス浄化装置が取り付けられてなり、
前記爆発燃焼継続条件は、前記排ガス浄化装置の触媒の劣化を抑制する触媒劣化抑制制御が実行されている条件である
動力出力装置。 - 前記電力動力入出力手段は、前記内燃機関の出力軸と前記駆動軸と回転軸との3軸に接続され該3軸のうちのいずれか2軸に入出力される動力に基づいて残余の軸に動力を入出力する3軸式動力入出力手段と、前記回転軸に動力を入出力可能な発電機と、を備える手段である請求項1ないし8いずれか記載の動力出力装置。
- 請求項1ないし9いずれか記載の動力出力装置を搭載し、車軸が前記駆動軸に連結されてなる車両。
- 内燃機関と、該内燃機関の出力軸と駆動軸とに接続され電力と動力の入出力を伴って前記内燃機関からの動力の少なくとも一部を前記駆動軸に出力する電力動力入出力手段と、前記駆動軸に動力を入出力可能な電動機と、前記電力動力入出力手段および前記電動機と電力のやりとりが可能な蓄電手段と、を備える動力出力装置の制御方法であって、
(a)前記内燃機関の爆発燃焼を継続する爆発燃焼継続条件が成立していないときには前記駆動軸に出力すべき要求駆動力に基づいて前記内燃機関の間欠運転を含めて該内燃機関の目標運転状態を設定し、前記爆発燃焼継続条件が成立しているときには前記要求駆動力に基づいて前記内燃機関の運転継続をもって該内燃機関の目標運転状態を設定し、
(b)前記爆発燃焼継続条件が成立している最中に前記駆動軸に制動力または軽負荷を出力する所定の駆動状態ではないときには前記内燃機関が前記設定した目標運転状態で運転されると共に前記要求駆動力に基づく駆動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるよう前記内燃機関と前記電力動力入出力手段と前記電動機とを制御する中高負荷燃焼継続制御を実行し、前記所定の駆動状態のときには前記内燃機関の爆発燃焼の継続を伴って該内燃機関が前記設定した目標運転状態で運転されると共に前記要求駆動力に基づく駆動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるよう前記内燃機関と前記電力動力入出力手段と前記電動機とを制御する低負荷燃焼継続制御を実行する
動力出力装置の制御方法。 - 前記ステップ(b)は、前記所定の駆動状態のときに前記蓄電手段を充放電する充放電電力が前記蓄電手段の入力制限の範囲内となるよう前記低負荷燃焼継続制御を実行すると前記内燃機関を前記設定した目標運転状態で運転することができないときには、前記内燃機関の燃料噴射を停止して該内燃機関が前記目標運転状態で運転されるよう制御するステップである請求項11記載の動力出力装置の制御方法。
